I did try to do a search but could not find anything using the word tires.
I am looking for a Michelin dealer that is known for honesty and good service.
I hesitate to go to the dealer where I purchased the vehicle as they will most likely be the highest price. However I would do so if there are no known good tire shops around.

Sam's Club
Price very good
Service takes forever
(Walmart does tire rotations for $10 and doesn't take too long if you get there early)

Another vote for Wildwood tire (on 44, just west of 301), I was there today, needed a new tire and a front end alignment, everything completed in around 2 hours, and at a much better cost than I would have had at the VW dealer.

Buy them online at Tirerack.com. Best price, shipped to a local installer you select from a list of pre-approved and set price they negotiate so even the install is at a lower price. Now every dealer who does them tries to up sell you something you don't need, but just say no.

Sam's Club. They have an inexpensive installation charge that includes lifetime balancing, rotation, and tire repair. Costco also but there aren't any very close.

Without question, Wildwood Tire.just replaced my tires there and the service was fantastic, prices less than big box stores Costco and Sam's and the gentleman at the counter found a $50 mail in credit which I was totally unaware of. Great people. And the offer free Bibles to anyone that would like but may not have one.

Another thumbs up for Sumter tire. I've bought three sets of tires there over the past five years. Owner Larry and his son Bobby do a great job.

I think that anybody will match any price quote you have, except for the warehouse and online prices. So, if you don't want to go to Sam's, just find the lowest price and buy the tires wherever you want.

Last year I was on the message board for the brand and model of car I owned at the time. A thread about replacing the original tires mentioned that several owners had replaced with a Continental brand and model and size and were very happy.
I looked at Wildwood Tire's website and they listed the tires for a better price than Tirerack.com, I asked do you have these. He said we would have them by 10am tomorrow morning. I said, do you need a deposit or appointment. He said, no, asked my name and said just come in tomorrow after 10am. The next day I got there about 10:30 and the tires were waiting and they installed them, it took a couple of hours. They are very busy, every bay has cars in line and 2 or 3 guys manning the front office desk are constantly answering phones and people walking in. Many are locals, kind of reminds me of the local bar, people come in and sit and talk about fishing or whatever and for a few minutes you feel like one of the Wildwood locals.
