First time I saw Tony Bennett in concert was around 1975 in Las Vegas. Excellent show!

The opening act for him was Joey Heatherton. What a show!!

We stayed at the Circus Circus Hotel and got a huge room for $29. The room had red velvet wallpaper, a king sized round bed on a raised platform, and mirrors over the bed.

We got a listing of all the hotel showrooms with phone numbers to make reservations with the mait'd in each one. ALL the mait'd names were Italian!

Yes, this was definitely old-time Las Vegas. It was great!
