Sorry to see Quiznos off of 466 at spanish trace close there doors. Best subs around by far. Also golf USA in same shopping closed.

With small franchises it's hard to weather the down times/seasons if you don't have the reserves to keep the business running. I have a neighbor who is in the same boat.

The big guys are better equipped to ride things out.

I thought the place was adequate -- better than the other sub chains, but that is damning by faint praise. But I NEVER saw a crowd in there, 3 or 4 customers max, generally empty. Great for fast service, lousy for return on investment. And if the owners were always there, they hid well. I don't remember ever seeing anyone over 19 behind the counter.

Yogi said it about ballparks, but it especially fits restaurants: If people don't want to come out to the ball park, nobody's gonna stop 'em.

quizno's was sold several months ago and the new owner ran it into the ground...
