well, as someone who is getting pretty used to the insults hurled at me because I do not support the persons morals or character in the White House........is not the point of this forum to share accurate information and engage in conversation about current events.

In fact, I'll be the first to admit that I'm not as well informed as many of you. If you remember way back when I told you that you were one of my go to people for information, and how much I enjoyed your posts on the past political forum. Believe me, i have a lot of diversity in my family from politics, to religion, to you name it, so i can't afford to shut people out because they dont agree with me. If we can't find comon ground we just agree to disagree and move on. As far as shutting anyone out, I think you did that to me when I didn't agree with you.......will have to see if I can figure out which thread that was, but you said you probably would not be able to have further discussion with me because of my beliefs.

Secondly, no one has told me anything about you and/or CNM. In fact, I have never met nor facebooked with anyone on the political forum. I just see what I read on here and base my opinions on that. Other than you always taking sides with CNM, I never thought you were anything like him and still don't. Sorry you are disappointed, but my reasons for coming on here were not necessarily to make friends and certainly not to make enemies. If you read the thread on immigration, you will see that Carl and I agree for the most part on immigration. Where we part ways, I THINK MAYBE, is the handling of those immigrants here illegally for years working, crime free and not involved with gangs.

I also, if you read there, support comprehensive reform and not patch work work with EOs.

Good post, Tal. You don't have to be of the same mindset or believe everything someone posts in order to learn something from them. Life is not all about just facts, it's also about your experiences and learning from other's experiences as well. I appreciate that you try to stay open-minded to the fact that no one is all right nor all wrong. That's why I hate to resort to the Ignore list, but I understand the need for it at times. We all could learn something from you about respecting other posters and how to deal with difficult ones. Thanks for your input.

I disagree. Although the word "race" is getting a bad rap lately the fact is that we didn't all descend from the same ancestors and therefore we are similar but not the same. We all have specialized abilities regardless of political/cultural biases. Together we all form the human race, equal but not all the same.

I wonder if the American Bar Association meeting in New York City is wondering what is going on with all the 224 and 613 references. Especially when taking into account I have letters from various ABA Presidents supporting this work and the former Dean of the U of MN Law School Robert Stein was the Executive Director of the American Bar Association and almost always answered my various snail mail letters. Incidentally, my parents would tell you that they are proud of the work I have been doing even if that do not understand it all that much as they are not acquainted with the world of legal education and law librarianship. But they were here when Gene Corsair talked to me about my work and that Villages Daily Sun article came out on Memorial Day of 2007. The neighbors saw it as well as did many of my friends at Doggie Doo Run Run. And more of this came out when I was a potential juror here in Sumter County in May of 2014 as I had to inform the court about this work as well as not to blindside them with it.

And I do hope my nurse, psychiatric social worker, doctor, lawyer and other friends I have met here in the Villages are looking at some of the things I post of Talk of the Villages.

The AMA is a redundant and useless small group of supposed medical professionals. If you look at the ratio of doctors that actually belong to it, you will see that they have a very low membership. About 25%.
