This movie just hit NETFLIX and I watched it for three hours last night waiting for the part where it all gets pulled together and makes perfect sense. I had to Google the explanation this morning. Everything is connected, good and evil in constant conflict, man's inhumanity towards his fellow man, avarice, blah, blah, blah.....I now need to find an activity that lasts three hours but is worth six hours so I can get last night's three hours back. My advice would be that if you contemplate watching this movie, don't....unless the other choice is cable news.

Quite a commitment to get that far with Cloud Atlas. One of the strangest movies I have seen with that caliber of actors like Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, the new Q of some of the Daniel Craig James Bond movies, etc. Cloud Atlas (2012) - Rotten Tomatoes (https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/cloud_atlas_2012/)

Probably only a good movie to watch if you were a Philosophy major and enjoy thinking about the huge issues of life and death and the immortality of the soul, etc.

Activity=actively babysitting a 4-6 year old and a puppy. Guaranteed that when they crash you will feel like you spent twice the amount of time with them that you really did, but you will be twice as happy.

It has an interesting idea that a small group of people show up in reincarnations over hundreds of years and deal with war, love, business and politics.
