Torch-wielding white nationalists march on University of Virginia ahead of massive rally (https://www.yahoo.com/gma/torch-wielding-white-nationalists-march-university-virginia-ahead-064005405--abc-news-topstories.html)
It's over white people...this is a continuation of the decline of America, civilization, and the world, that began in the US in the 1960s. This is racial/species/genetic genocide/suicide.
"Chanting "white lives matter," "you will not replace us,""
"Police arrived on campus, declared it an unlawful assembly, and ordered the crowds to disperse.
It is unclear if anyone was injured or arrested."
"Teresa A. Sullivan, president of the University of Virginia, said in a statement Friday, "I am deeply saddened and disturbed by the hateful behavior displayed by torch-bearing protestors that marched on our Grounds this evening. I strongly condemn the unprovoked assault on members of our community, including University personnel who were attempting to maintain order."
Sullivan added, "Law enforcement continues to investigate the incident, and it is my hope that any individuals responsible for criminal acts are held accountable. The violence displayed on Grounds is intolerable and is entirely inconsistent with the University’s values."
"Mayor of Charlottesville calls pro-Confederate rallies 'horrific'
I am beyond disgusted by this unsanctioned and despicable display of visual intimidation on a college campus.""
Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, chimed in, tweeting of the torch-bearing white nationalists, "their ideas are fueled by hate & have no place in civil society."
Virignia governor Terry McAuliffe said he finds the rally "abhorrent."
And the Anti-Defamation League said the rally is "the latest indication that the darkest corners of society are emboldened to come forward and openly parade their bigotry on main street. Hate has no place in our communities."

Stop trying to change history and leave the Confederate Memorials alone and you won't have issues like these!
No one is "trying to change history," decent people are simply refusing to glorify...the lowlife scum parts of it.
Make sure future generations aware of the Pol Pot's, Hitler's, American traitors, etc...just don't build statues to them on public property.
Your side lost snowflake...let it go already. :1rotfl:

How's the weather in Charlottesville?
And so far, two tepid tweets from Chump...of which neither condemns the white supremacists.
Then again, there's a potential of losing a large part of his base...if he says anything bad about them.

In communist countries the motto is the past is never certain".:D southern whites have a legitimate complaint.
Niki Halley was wrong to remove the confederate flag and government officials are wrong to be strong armed into removing commemorations to valiant men who fought in the Civil War. that is our history warts and all . It sets a very dangerous precedent to allow this nonsense to continue . Those men who fought with the confederacy were determined to be United States veterans

No, Rubicon, you have it wrong again!
The Confederate flag was MOVED by the former governor to a museum. Museums should be established for these Confederate artifacts and that is where they belong.
Now, as you know, Nazi flags are not permitted in Germany although many Germans fought bravely. Would YOU think it is proper to have Hitler statues in Germany? After all, he was part of their history. So, you see that your history argument does not hold water.

Do not confuse Rubicon with facts.
Facts distort his "woe is me", everyone is picking on me, and sort of keeps from blaming OBama or Clinton...both of whom are responsible for ALL ills of the world.

I suggest YOU start doing some reading...so you don't appear so ignorant.
Then again, I'm not sure you have enough time left...for that to ever happen. :1rotfl:
While it's true that the traitors were finally allowed benefits as veterans (primarily because some served in the Spanish American War)...there's a LOT more to that story.
Read the link and you might learn something. ;)
Confederate Soldiers Are Considered U.S. Veterans Under Federal Law-Truth! (https://www.truthorfiction.com/confederate-soldiers-are-considered-u-s-veterans-under-federal-law/)
President William McKinley cited reconciliation between the North and South...
"the time has now come, in the evolution of sentiment and feeling under the providence of God, when in the spirit of fraternity we should share with you in the care of the graves of the Confederate soldiers."
And as to confederate monuments and especially flying the traitorous confederate flag...
The Confederate flag didn’t fly widely in the south until the 1940s, the Atlantic reports:
After the surrender in 1865, Confederate flags were folded and put away. They were most likely to be spotted at memorials or cemeteries. Even after the hopeful decade of Reconstruction gave way to the violent repression of Redemption, open displays of the flag remained rare. There was no need for a banner to signal defiance; Jim Crow reigned unchallenged.
The flag slowly crept back into public life over the ensuing decades, saluted at veterans’ reunions, promoted by the United Daughters of the Confederacy, even carried into battle by units from the South. By the mid-twentieth century, the flags were also waved by football fans, and sold to tourists.
But as a political symbol, the flag was revived when northern Democrats began to press for an end to the South’s system of racial oppression. In 1948, the Dixiecrats revolted against President Harry Truman—who had desegregated the armed forces and supported anti-lynching bills. The movement began in Mississippi in February of 1948, with thousands of activists “shouting rebel yells and waving the Confederate flag,” as the Associated Press reported at the time. Some actually removed old, mothballed flags from the trunks where they had until then been gathering dust.
So, it’s true that Confederate and Union soldiers are considered equal under federal law, but critics argue that the same isn’t true of the American and Confederate flags.
So the bottom line being, the confederate flag (symbol of United States traitors) never became an issue...until such time in the LATE 40's that the movement to fight against Jim Crow laws and institutional racism began.
So anyone claiming that the confederate flag has any other meaning than white supremacy...is full of $hit. :cus:
Your side lost, this great nation was saved from a bunch of traitors and those who whine and still act like snowflakes because of that a$$-kicking...should just get over it.
PS. And any flags or monuments, on public property, trying to spread the hate that the confederacy and flag represents...need to be removed.

I will surely have trouble sleeping tonight. What has happened in the USA ?
"Former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke appeared at the "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville, Va. prior to Saturday's violent clashes, saying that the event represented fulfilling the promises of President Trump.
"This represents a turning point for the people of this country. We are determined to take our country back, we're going to fulfill the promises of Donald Trump, and that's what we believed in, that's why we voted for Donald Trump, because he said he's going to take our country back and that's what we gotta do," Duke said."
David Duke: Charlottesville protests about ‘fulfilling promises of Donald Trump’ | TheHill (http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/346326-david-duke-charlottesville-protests-about-fulfilling-promises)
I know what the alt right folks in here will say, and that is the vast, vast majority, but this on top of a threat of nuclear weapons, invading Venzuela, an investigation into a Russian attack called a hoax by the administration. Guam is told it will be good for tourism ?
Not sure, but sleeping is becoming more and more difficult.
Then to make it more uneasy, we have a poster say he/she is "pro white" and wonders why the fuss !
And another speaking about a removal of a flag to a museum....AS IF THAT COULD POSSIBLY BE A MOTIVE FOR SOMETHING LIKE THIS.
Threat of use of nuclear weapons, threat if troops in Venzuela, an investigation into foreign powers demeaned and called a hoax by the leader, White supremicist feeling they are filling some kind of promise by chanting hate against Jews and non whites, and purposely killing people. Is this really the change you folks wanted ?

Trump's Presidential campaign created some of the toxic atmosphere that we all now have to breathe.
He should be condemning the hate groups as strongerly as possible and not hedging his words.

Has anyone from the administration denounced White supremicist groups ?
They are carrying nazi flags and chanting.."you lost get over it"......that sort of narrows it.
Serious question...have not seen it, but watched those folks in their "brown shirts" with clubs, etc and see posters on here trying to defend, make cutesy remarks and continue troll like behavior.

I know you alt right regulars on here wil be happy to hear that I am totally at a loss for words.
"White nationalists and neo-Nazis celebrated President Donald Trump's remarks about the protests in Charlottesville, Virginia on Friday, in which he denounced violence "on all sides" rather than explicitly condemning white supremacism.
The founder of the Daily Stormer, a neo-Nazi and white supremacist website that considers itself a part of the alt-right, celebrated the fact that Trump "outright refused to disavow" the white nationalist rally and movement.
"People saying he cucked are shills and kikes," wrote the founder, Andrew Anglin. "He did the opposite of cuck. He refused to even mention anything to do with us. When reporters were screaming at him about White Nationalism he just walked out of the room."
When Trump tweeted earlier on Saturday that "we ALL must be united & condemn all that hate stands for," white nationalist Richard Spencer replied: "Did Trump just denounce antifa?"
Antifa is short for antifascist organizations.
"Clearly President Trump is condemning the real haters: the SJW/Marxists who've attacked our guys," said one commenters on the far-right, pro-Trump subreddit called r/The_Donald.
"Marxist" and "SJW," or social justice warrior, are terms frequently used by the far-right to describe liberals.
"So glad GEOTUS called this bulls--t out for what it really is," said another commenter, using an acronym to refer to Trump that stands for "God Emperor of the United States.'"
"Trump comments were good," said another Daily Stormer commenter. "He didn't attack us. He just said the nation should come together. Nothing specific against us. He said that we need to study why people are so angry, and implied that there was hate... on both sides! So he implied the antifa are haters."
The commenter continued: "There was virtually no counter-signaling of us at all. He said he loves us all. Also refused to answer a question about white nationalists supporting him. No condemnation at all. When asked to condemn, he just walked out of the room. Really, really good. God bless him."

You mean like the demand that religious symbols, ten commandments, etc be removed. You mean like IN GOD WE TRUST should be stricken from our currency. Once there done with you who do you suppose they will come after next? the people you are defending are trying to reinvent the First Amendment in their quest to reinvent America stripping away our freedoms.
What is occurring in Virginia now has been stirring for a long time ( the last 8 years). I speculate that a number of those white nationalist are Oath keepers and those of us who took an oath to defend this nation agreed to do so whether the enemy was foreign or domestic
It may have escaped you but there has been a continuing assault on Christians and on white heterosexual males.

To underscore the absurdity of the anti white movement, a journalist is trying to make the connection of white supremacy claims by pointing out that many if not most of the female personalities on FOX News have blonde hair. Hence since whites dominate blonde hair coloring then Fox news must be racist:D Further that the blonde hair Fox connection fits nicely into the Trump narrative because well he has blonde hair.

You should provide a link to that as it sounds like a parody of the kind of stuff Donald John Trump has been puling with some of our ambassadors to Russia being sent packing by Putin and then Trump thanking Putin. And later saying he was being sarcastic when the press and the State Department called him on this.

:ohdear:So what happens now? Do only the statues that pay homage and respect to Confederate Soldiers, who by the way are considered to be Veterans of The US, get torn down? Or do we continue on and branch out to the number of our Founding Fathers that were slave owners? How about Washington, Lincoln, Jefferson? They all were slave owners! Do we have to change the name of Washington DC? Is the Jefferson and Lincoln memorials coming down? You can't just pick and choose which history you want to abolish. If Slavery is the common point of contention, then you have to look at the whole spectrum. By the way, the early slaves and some after, were sold into slavery by Black Slave Owners!!:ohdear:

1) Civil War veterans, not the statues or plaques commemorating them were given Veteran standing.
2) Lincoln did not own any slaves
3) the history of slave ownership is not in the scope of this discussion, but America has a long history of discrimination up to this day, so, perhaps it is time to start changing that history

1 - What are you going to put up instead? Some black or woman who played a minor role that you embellish?
2 - "In their fourth debate, at Charleston, Illinois, on September 18, 1858, Lincoln made his position clear. “I will say then that I am not, nor ever have been, in favor of bringing about in any way the social and political equality of the white and black races,” he began, going on to say that he opposed blacks having the right to vote, to serve on juries, to hold office and to intermarry with whites. What he did believe was that, like all men, blacks had the right to improve their condition in society and to enjoy the fruits of their labor."
"For much of his career, Lincoln believed that colonization—or the idea that a majority of the African-American population should leave the United States and settle in Africa or Central America—was the best way to confront the problem of slavery. His two great political heroes, Henry Clay and Thomas Jefferson, had both favored colonization; both were slave owners who took issue with aspects of slavery but saw no way that blacks and whites could live together peaceably. Lincoln first publicly advocated for colonization in 1852, and in 1854 said that his first instinct would be “to free all the slaves, and send them to Liberia” (the African state founded by the American Colonization Society in 1821)."
"Emancipation was a military policy.
As much as he hated the institution of slavery, Lincoln didn’t see the Civil War as a struggle to free the nation’s 4 million slaves from bondage. Emancipation, when it came, would have to be gradual, and the important thing to do was to prevent the Southern rebellion from severing the Union permanently in two. But as the Civil War entered its second summer in 1862, thousands of slaves had fled Southern plantations to Union lines, and the federal government didn’t have a clear policy on how to deal with them. Emancipation, Lincoln saw, would further undermine the Confederacy while providing the Union with a new source of manpower to crush the rebellion."
"The Emancipation Proclamation didn’t actually free all of the slaves.
Since Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation as a military measure, it didn’t apply to border slave states like Delaware, Maryland, Kentucky and Missouri, all of which had remained loyal to the Union. Lincoln also exempted selected areas of the Confederacy that had already come under Union control in hopes of gaining the loyalty of whites in those states. In practice, then, the Emancipation Proclamation didn’t immediately free a single slave, as the only places it applied were places where the federal government had no control—the Southern states currently fighting against the Union."
5 Things You May Not Know About Lincoln, Slavery and Emancipation - History in the Headlines (http://www.history.com/news/5-things-you-may-not-know-about-lincoln-slavery-and-emancipation)
3 - A history of DESERVED discrimination. Growing up...how many blacks were your equal or better? How many blacks were better at math? Better at English? Better at reading? Writing? They were stronger and tougher...that's about it.
We discriminate against children...we don't let THEM vote because they're not intellectually equipped to handle voting...neither are the blacks. We don't let men play in women's divisions because they'd dominate...just as white people dominate most professions. It's not really discrimination when it's for a reason. They're just NOT as good...in most things.

Oh come on boy, put some cartoon pictures up that disprove the data that Don posted...you got him on the ropes, he might be close to admitting you are equal with African Americans.

It's ALL they EVER have...name calling.
Because they are WRONG...we are NOT equal and NEVER will be.
Your dog will never start it's own business, it won't graduate college, and it's NOT "human".
Neither are/will blacks...without quotas and affirmative action.
Don't be fooled by the 1% that are paraded in front of us on TV...the 99% live in the inner cities and they are NOT us...they are NOT "people" you want around.
