If you take your vitamins you just might be around for the total eclipse in 2045. The date is August 12th and The Villages will be in the center of it.

The path of totality of this eclipse will be seen over many major cities, including Reno, Salt Lake City, Colorado Springs, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Tampa, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Nassau.

What is interesting about that for me personally is the fact that my brother's birthday is August 21 and my birthday is August 12. Eclipse brothers...

Doing the math in my head, I better get my act together or medical science better pull a rabbit out the hat for me to see the next one.

The lobster thread on TOTV will have ten million views by then and probably still no lobster delivered.

In all probability. However, there will be a total eclipse over Eastern Canada in 2024, so we can always hope.....

As many of us in TV = I'll be 97, and it will be dark where I'll reside in 2045.
Actually bod will be at UCF Med School - whenever my times runs out.

And TV will still not be at Buildout...
For those still around in '45 - enjoy.

April 8, 2024 — Total solar eclipse of Aug 21, 2017 (https://www.greatamericaneclipse.com/april-8-2024/)

There is one on April 8, 2024 but the totality will be in the middle of the US and Maine. It will be in Barefoot's territory as a Total Eclipse. Or, very close to it.

Question on the Eclipse? What Effect does the sun have on the Back-Side of the Moon? Will the moon get Hotter & change the surface as it moves?

Nothing the moon rotates as it rotates around the earth. We don't see it rotate cause it syncs rotates with the earth so it don't look like it rotating.
