Meet and Greet for Sept

have had only two requests for a Meet and Greet recently and wondering if there are any other new singles out there who would like to meet some new friends in Sept. Please let me know if there is any more interest. :)

thanks! by the way, some of us will gather at Brownwood thursday night, Aug 31, to hear our member Ted play in his band. look for a familiar face or wear a name tag so we can spot you :) we usually try to sit at the left side of the bandstand near the front.

Correction! since the forecast is for rain Thursday night, we are also planning an alternate night out at City Fire Sumter Landing when Ted is also playing with another group! That music begins at eight. So much fun to choose from! :)

ok, have heard from a few others privately as well, so am choosing the date of Tuesday, Sept 12 to meet on the porch of the sales office in Lake Sumter Landing at 4pm. the music starts at five so we try to plan what to do afterward before it gets too loud to communicate :) there are lots of comfy chairs on the front porch and if for some reason the weather is bad we can always adjourn to Panera's as we have done a few times. afterwards small groups can choose to go to dinner, stay at the square, see a movie, dance at the Waterfront or City Fire, etc etc....a great way to meet some new people to do things with. if you have a name tag from any other club, please wear it.

Hi Dianne, I am spending the month of October in TV and am looking forward to meeting you and other singles. I will be staying in the Silver Lakes area near Spanish Springs and will have the use of a golf cart. Is it common to be out after dark and drive home after gatherings in a cart and/or do people ride share or take taxis? Thanks, Michele

no, you will find that the little carts are putt putting along on the golf cart paths after dark, especially around nine when the music in the squares ends...you will have a special bridge in your area to cross 441. it just takes a bit longer than in a car but you will get everywhere you need to go :)
