I see this dog is still available for adoption. She has been there a very long time.

I have met many very sweet pit bull mixes. It seems to depend a lot on the owner. My sister-in-law picked up what looked like a pit bull/boxer mix from Max's Pet Connection last week. This is quite a nice pooch.

And some of the dogs at Doggie Doo Run Run which are pit bull mixes are afraid of my chihuahua/terrier mix. Granted there are some pit bull mixes that become aggressive and this is also usually because of the owner's treatment of it or control of it.

I didn't completely figure it out but suspected and was hoping so! Love hearing about this human/canine journey. We have a lot to learn from one another :).

Anxiously awaiting the next story...

Seems a lot of "secrets" lurk here on Talk of the Villages.

That is great news though. Think I may avoid a certain section at the Polo Fields though.

The timing of this thread is quite amazing. I was just talking to my lovely about starting to 'advertise' K on another thread. I have been taking some pictures for her coming out...

I am not sure why I did not reveal the facts originally... made sense to me at the time.

Maybe you have made up your mind about adopting rather than just fostering?

No, I hope to foster other dogs. We have made one commitment, she will never go back to the SPCA.

I hope someone finds her as amazing as we do, but if not she will be a looooong foster :)
