Ask Bill and Hillary:

A little interpretation required. Anybody or anything said that is not in concert with or in support of what the Dems are doing....or even asks a question about what it is they are doing. The Republicans have a similar stupid approach to politics.
What they all have in common? Them first, then party and some where on page 2 is we the people.

THIS is what is wrong with politics in this country today !!!!!!
Instead of discussing what is actually happening we discuss this kind of stuff. Each side has a list that they can call on in this type of discussion which is such a waste of time.
I have been guilty of getting sucked into this kind of thing and it is discouraging at a minimum.

The book is an absolute eye-opener. The author lived what he writes about. His father was a major influence on the early days of the religious right. It's really astonishing. You won't turn into a Democrat by just reading a book. It's a study of where the Grand Old Party is and where they are headed unless some of the members take matters into their own hands instead of following blindly. It's not my party, but it used to be.

With all due respect, there are reports out there about the Democratic party that will make your head spin....THESE ARE SPIN BOOKS...ALL OF THEM !
Wake up....find out what is REAL...sorry if that is disrespectable, but I can quote you so many conspiracy "theories" on the left that would make this pale...why waste your time....
Lets talk about WHY we have no strategy on Afghanastan....lets talk about what is important....did you have to read that book to hate the right ? NO....why read what is somebody telling youwhat you want to hear ?
I might add that the conservative religious types that you demean strike me as VERY VERY SIMILIAR to the Rainbow Coaliton which basically ran the Democratic party for years !

Well, silver tongued I am not...nor are you...you go right for the juglar...you, of course, being of the elite are the one who judges what and who is worthless !
Will be glad to recommend reading material for you to get updated on the left wing conspiracies since that type of things seems to be "worthy" material....oh, no I forgot you obviously only consider it "worthy" if it agrees with YOUR viewpoint !

Beside the fact that this guy is trying to sell his book, is there any rational person here who thinks that less than 35% of the liberal left wing thinks that President Obama the Savior?
I doubt it.

Okay, post your reading list. I'm sure we can all use a broadening of our points of views. Seriously, if you read the book I recommended, I promise to read your #1 recommendation. Then we can discuss it here.
Oh, I forgot, I'm not elite.

The Vast Left Wing Conspiracy: The Untold Story of How Democratic Operatives, Eccentric Billionaires, Liberal Activists, and Assorted Celebrities Tried to Bring Down a President--and Why They'll Try Even Harder Next Time....BYRON YORK
HOWEVER, as I said, having read a few of these books on BOTH SIDES,they are all slanted totally. They do have some facts but skewed to their point of view.
If you want to discuss anything here, lets talk about Afghanastan, Iran, the health bill, cap and trade, immigration because they are what counts and count now.
Start with reading this op ed from todays Wall St Journal...
"There Are Only Two Choices Left on Iran
An Israeli or U.S. military strike now, or a nuclear Tehran soon."
http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052970204518504574420641457091318.html
It is not slanted left nor right simply a presentation of what is happening and what could happen. For the record I am in the Presidents corner thus far on this !
Or this one...
"President Obama has not set a deadline for determining a new strategy or for committing more troops to the war in Afghanistan, despite an urgent request from his top commander, his national security adviser said Saturday."
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/09/26/AR2009092602685.html?hpid=topnews
Again, I am not a supporter of the President but in this case, while I surely wish he had not announced on strategy in March and now going to change it, maybe it is time to reassess this area of the world and consider what this escalation may create versus what it might accomplish.
This is what we should be discussing and I say that with all due respect.
I am in the middle of Harry Truman's biography by David McCullough and can tell you that even in the 40's politics was politics....difference is that there was no internet or 24 hour cable show pumping this stuff into our brains over and over and over.

The Mother of all conspiracies is "ACORN".

The Mother of all conspiracies is "ACORN".
There are a few books on that subject as well, but the "mother of all books" on this issue is to be written. This particular organization is one of the basics of the Soros group and now we see folks "following the money" which will be the undoing of this group.
Do you realize that just a few short months ago, this was a group chosen by the White House to assist and be a "partner" with the US census ?
