It looks kind of Western in style. Very nicely done, with gates. I am guessing it is a Morse family area.

The Morse family does "Things" very nicely. Along the north side of 466 between Morse and Bunea Vista, I understand the family owns land and homes.

Look at page A7 of Sunday's paper. There is a half page ad for "Chatham Acres" featuring 7 mini-farms, 5-7 acre homesites. Beautiful gate in the photo. Properties of the Villages, but no location identified. The photo appears to be inside, looking out, so not sure you would see it from the road, though. I only remember it because I wondered if it was part of the Morse compound. Maybe you found it.

Chatham Acres is on 42 at North end of The Villages. Go out the Mulberry Gate and turn L on CR 42.

The Morse Compound is along 466 between Morse Blvd and Buena Vista. The entrance Gracie is talking about is probably across from that Bridgeport community facing 466.

The properties you're thinking of are off from 42 on the far north end of The Villages.

Could be the entrance for the new polo barns they are building.

I have been in what you are referring to as the "Morse Compound," but in fairness to the family, will not say where it is.

It is not, however, a "Morse Compound" as many people live there. It is simply another residential area and sprawling and lovely.

NOT looking for "where" the Morse's live. It's the VERY large tract of land I mentioned and most folks who live here refer to that tract as that. I do know there's quite A LOT in there that most of us aren't aware of. LOTS of homes, pastures, more polo fields and more. I'd love to fly over it one day just because. Think curiousity is innately a human factor. I'd never presume to being a voyeaur of the Morse family however!!

Yes, it is a very large tract of land and even the empty lots are pristine. I was not aware that it was referred to as the "Morse Compound since only a couple of them live there.

Yes, we humans are innately curious -- even more so that a cat!

An insider disclosed the Morse's are moving to Chatham. It will offer them more room for their horses and it is time for an update to their houses. The area in the middle is to become a new community patterned after Fenny.

I don't think so.

Someone just built a gorgeous new home you can see from 466 but soon the pines they planted will cover the view and there are several now building back in there. One WAS recently torn down and rebuilt, that one you can see from 466 as well. Look up Morse family names on Sumterpa.com. Gary's was listed, but now probably in widow's name. It show pictures from the sky just like all of our homes.

But then again, you could be right. But I am skeptical about this.

I seen that new home also. Very big. Maybe it is the new Rec Center / Grill like in Fenney.
