There is so much information on the television..........unless Tucc answers............watch local news.........much better than random responses on ToTV.

On the intellicast.com website I have Irma on radar and in motion and Irma appears now headed 360 or due north, which I think makes a track right over TV. That route takes it over land more quickly, although the everglades has a lot of water. Still over land and not open water could help slow it down somewhat as far as wind speed. If it could turn to a heading of 010 or 020 and pass just east of us, that would be the best scenario because the right side is the bad side. If it passed east we would be on the left side. It's probably going to drag along the Gulf coastline which means it would probably turn slightly northwest and then were on bad side again.
I found a Villager in Gilchrist has a weather station which is good for wind speed and direction. Currently about 12 kts with gusts to 20 and from the east to northeast.

Don't get it, how could ToTV so fast updated like Weather Channel? Who want to follow the path of IRMA and post it right away? I believe all complainers should do that.

200 MPH?
20 ft. surge?
That reminds me of grade school when I had to walk 10 miles to school, uphill both ways, through 5 ft. of snow at 50 below...every single school day. :D

That's nothing. For me it was 50 miles and I didn't even have shoes!

Am I the only one that thinks the Weather Channel's coverage is terrible? All they show is a guy trying to stand up in the hurricane winds and this after they have told everyone to stay indoors. Any maps that you might want to see are in an inset in the bottom corner of the screen that you can't make out any detail because it's so small. Ridiculous in my opinion.

When the storm was still in the Caribbean then CNN and other network channels were good for updates. However since yesterday I found Orlando Channel 2 is very good when Tony Mainolfi is reporting and Channel 6 when Tom Sorrells is on duty is very good.
