Contacting The villages transportation when your phone system is down

Does anyone know how to contact the villages transportation? The phone lines are always busy I think they may be down due to hurricane Irma outages. I'm trying to figure out how to reschedule an airport pick up should my flight be canceled. Their website is up but it says you have to call them for changes.

Been trying to call them all day here. Signif Other flying from Seattle<>MCO; had reserv for Shuttle. Flight was delayed further and she tried to call to get a later Shuttle. Constant busy signal. She took off. And I tried calling them from home -same continual busy. Went onto their web site - nothing. Was gonna drive over to their offc on LSL...are you kidding me???
Then found their Facebook page and they had a messg that due to storm their phone system down all day as well as web site. Crazy....

If you're going to pick her up instead, you may want to get started soon...as Turnpike is really crowded southbound.

I tried to send them a message on their website Contact The Villages Transportation (http://www.thevillagestransportation.com/contactus.html)
It said the message was to short. That makes no sense, I can see a message being to long but it didn't seem to send it.

If their phone system is down, there is not much that can be done. They probably use Voice over IP and either lost electric or internet service. A ride in a car over there is not the end of the world. Everybody just went through a hurricane, things will not be "normal" again for some time.

It all worked out. Flight landed late, she got her luggage, out to the van pickup area - TV Van was just ready to pull out, she just made it. 55 min later, Brownwood where I picked her up. A bit tense today with unknowns, but made it thru fine.
Was a hassle with the phone and web system unavailable...but not really knowing that.

Think of the hassle perhaps millions of Floridians are going through right now with no power, 90 degree temperatures, trees having fallen into and breaching their homes and no place to go. Be thankful you don't have those kinds of issues. Hurricanes are not a pretty thing and it will take a long time to get back to normal. I have offered my home up to a friend who lives in Eustis that is under these conditions right now.I have been there, it is miserable and I am glad to help out any way I can with someone suffering real issues during this time.
