Nothing great was ever accomplished without enthusiasm and the musical presented at Savannah Center on November 1 and 2 at 7:00pm proves this
as Billie Thatcher takes the cast and audience on an emotional tour of the 40 year collaboration of music by John Kander and words by Fred Ebb. Tickets for Villagers are $20 and $25 for all others available at all Village Box Offices.

The musical plucks the best songs from the duos greatest hits: from Cabaret comes the title song plus “Money Money” and “Maybe This Time”; Chicago gives us “All That Jazz” and “Mr. Cellophane”. Other Kander and Ebb songs from smaller shows include “Sara Lee”, “Coffee In a Cardboard Cup”, “My Coloring Book” and “The Kiss of the Spider Woman”. The show’s finale is perhaps the duos most famous song, the theme from “New York, New York”. Backed by a live band, the cast includes some of The Villages best-known performers, including Billie Thatcher, Jan Lavin, Janet Maloney, Bill Davis, and Jack Kolinski (Jean Valjean from Les Miz). Join the ‘roller coaster’ ride when you enter and you will never forget the world of Kander & Ebb when you leave “The World Goes Round”. Proceeds from the show will be donated to Honor Flight.
