The ACS Relay For Life of The Villages/ Lady Lake Event Leadership Volunteer Team would like to thank everyone who volunteered their time and talent for the 2017 Relay. We raised $65,319, had 27 teams, 255 participants and served 128 survivors dinner. We have started preparing for the 2018 ACS Relay For Life which will take place on Saturday April 14, 2018 at The Villages Polo Fields from 1pm till 9pm.
ACS Relay For Life is a life-changing event where communities across the globe come together in the spirit of creating awareness and raising funds for the American Cancer Society's Missions. Events bring our communities together by embracing their collective power to free the world from the pain and suffering of cancer.
We Celebrate Survivors and Caregivers during our opening ceremony, we Remember those who lost the battle during the Luminaria Ceremony and we Fight Back by raising money to support free programs and services ACS offers as well as cancer research.
Join us Monday October 16th for the ACS Relay For Life of The Villages/LadyLake Kick Off Party if you are interested in learning more about Relay For Life, volunteer in opportunities or planning the 2018 ACS Relay For Life of The Villages/Lady Lake, make or join a team or become a sponsor. The meeting will be held at the Hampton Inn, CR 466 at 6 pm.
Our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. They fundraise, they help patients, they advocate for life-saving change, and they're committed to helping us achieve our mission. We'd love for you to join them.
