Because I fractured my ankle, I need help in walking my 7 year old, 18 lb.sweet boy dog (mix Papillion and Havanese) daily at 7:30pm. (20 - 30 minutes). I live in the Village of St.Charles (near Seabreeze), and am willing to pay a reasonable fee. I do have help during the day, and that is why I require a dog-walker only in the evenings. My neighbors have been wonderful, but it seems that I won't be able to walk my dog for another 4 weeks. Thank you.

Why don't you call the high school and hire one of the kids from there?

Another option is to call the local veterinarian offices. We found "baby" sitters and pill poppers that way.

Call Joan at 352-391-2323. She's kind of like a broker for various pet sitters and walkers. The two we have used (Marlene Hartman and Susan Gros) are superb.

Hi there,
who did you find to walk the dog? We are looking for someone to let our dogs out in fenced yard, feed and give them water when we go away. Suggestions??
We live in Pine Hills
