Why should the election be determined by 4 states with 29-55 EC votes each? 4 states control 149 EC votes. That's MORE than half of what is needed to win. 4 states have that power. Why? Are they "better"? Why are they better? Because they have more people? Is a family of 10 entitled to more votes than a family of 3? Then why is a state with a larger "family" given more votes? Do they have more money? They should, they have coasts and ports...other states are landlocked. They don't have the ability to generate "free" revenue through overseas trade.

The fair way...IF you used a EC system giving states equal representation...is one state, one vote. The first candidate to 26 wins. However the state wants to determine the states winner, once it's done, the state votes for that candidate.

But you know...it's all moot...all academic. To the "system", to the very rich who really call the shots...it doesn't matter who WE choose...they both work for them. As long as ANY D or R is elected, they will call the shots. Actually, they'll call the shots no matter who is elected because they own everyone else too. It's the heads of the 3 letter organizations who run things. Politicians appoint whom they're told to appoint, a little theater is mixed in, but it doesn't change anything. They run things.

If voting mattered...they wouldn't let us do it.

If I come over to you with 2 of my buddies...and ask you to choose one to be your new leader...is that a CHOICE for you? I win either way...and you lose.
