Well, here was the itinerary she posted in another thread:

My son and I will be driving from Central NY on Wednesday, we probably wont get on the road till after the closing, hopefully by 2 p.m., drive till around 8 p.m., will need a pets friendly motel, then start out early in the morning....

So she's probably just arriving sometime today if all went well. And even if she could use a hotel lobby computer, her TOTV password may be stored on her own computer so she may not be able to communicate here for a while.

Did any of you arrange for a meet and greet with her?

Jeanne, just to make your arrival even more special, I thought I would let you know that I just turned on my gas furnace for the first time this "season" in Syracuse - I came home early today from work and it was only 62 in the house, and about 47 and rainy outside. To top that off lost power to the house this morning due to car accident in the area..Dark, cold and rainy with no heat ...nice. Looks like the same all weekend too but we do have power now. Jeannie Beannie is alive and kicking and living in Duval. She is sooo happy to be here but very very tired. I dropped by the house today and it was fantastic to meet her and her son. She doesn't have a computer yet but she will very soon, I think her son is heading out to get one for her.
Jeannie is EXACTLY what I expected, a very happy, delightful person and I know we are going to be great friends. Her doggies are great too. Tonight, she and Nonie and Bernie will join us at RJ Gators for some karaoke and dancing and we'll see who holds out the longest.... Its gonna be neat to have them meet and greet some of the new and old friends here in TV. I never heard so much screaming and crying as I did when I walked into the house.. Almost as much as the first time I met Donna and Nonie... WE are all sooooooo lucky!!

Isn't it amazing how such strong friendships can be built by meeting someone online...and then when meeting in person it is just like you've known each other forever!! Update on all the newbies and returnees in TV.... We had a crazy night at Gators with Nonie, Bernie, Jeannie and Betty (Opulence) and the rest of the maniacs I pal out with. Jeannie is like my sister, I feel like I've known her forever,. She was totally enthralled with Gators and LSL and kept saying she died and went to Heaven. She really kept up the pace with me on the dance floor and is the most fun loving woman ever.

It was jammed there tonight, not a seat to be had in the place, and we closed it at midnight. Unfortunately, I had finished off the evening with a strong drink, so my head is not going to feel too well tomorrow.

What a fun night, so happy my friends are back and new friends like Jeannie and Betty are here. I love you guys. I am sooooo luckkkkyyyy.....

Hey, incidentally, you may remember my 2009 New Year Resolution to meet as many people in TV as I can by the end of the year?? Well, when I walked into Gators I think I knew 90% of the peeps in there. I think I'm on track with my goal, don't you.????

Jeanne--Congratulations on your move to The Villages. I am also single and wonder if TV is the place for me. I visited my sister in 2008 and fell in love. Came back for another visit 6 months later and bought a CYV even though I can't retire until 2013! :( I hope I am able to find such good friends when I start spending time there when I retire. You are obviously a very special person to have made so many good friends, ones that you can count on, so quickly.

From your posts, I know this has move had been a positive experience for you.

Jeanne--Congratulations on your move to The Villages. I am also single and wonder if TV is the place for me. I visited my sister in 2008 and fell in love. Came back for another visit 6 months later and bought a CYV even though I can't retire until 2013! :( I hope I am able to find such good friends when I start spending time there when I retire. You are obviously a very special person to have made so many good friends, ones that you can count on, so quickly.

From your posts, I know this has move had been a positive experience for you.

Hello to all you wonderful TOTV'ers, I sure have missed you! I'm on my second new computer and Bernie got me all hooked up and running :clap2:. I will probably be chewing your ears off for all the time I lost hehe :blahblahblah:.

Thank each and every one of you for your good luck wishes, it means so much to me! I am in my new home and absolutely love it, my doggies love it too...lots of room to run around and play :a040:. I bought a CYV in Poinciana and all I have to do is open the door and out they go to play, and of course after they come in....Mommy goes out to play too hehe :pepper2:.

TV is more than I ever could have imagined, I just love it, and everyone that lives here!! Everyone has been fantastic! Kathie, Nonie and Bernie have been my personal chauffers, F-16, Barbara, Donna, Kathie, Nonie and Bernie all helped me move my many boxes, and I am extremely grateful, without them I dont know what I would have done. Thank you friends!!

I will catch up with all the TOTV news slowly but surely, but today I am heading out hoping to find a mattress....ahh I cant wait for that! :faint:
