Taka a knee next to the coffin of a real man who died serving his country so trash like u could protest our anthem. We will no longer watch or support you and will teach our grandchildren about respect and what a real Role Model is. Boycott NFL. They are stinking up the fields. Trump is right again. Obviously, you have no idea what the First Amendment to the US Constitution is all about.

Boycott the NFL? With the billions of dollars spent by sports fans?

You must be daft!

If The Trumpanzee cannot get his Mexican Wall paid for by the US (after promising Mexico would pay for it), cannot repeal or replace ACA, cannot explain a tax reform that will work, YOU think he can get an effective boycott on NFL?

You definitely are daft!

My friend. By their own hand and that of Disney's ESPN, etc the NFL is beginning to stand for "No Fans Left."
What the players and sportscaster are bringing to sports is division. What sports fans want is entertainment and unity. They do not pay to watch sports for political reasons or to watch over paid man-children throw tantrums and acts of disrespect.

The NFL commissioner is over paid $30 million dollars a year and he can't keep his players in check and he does not have the guts to deal fairly and effectively with players like Tom Brady that was about as innocent in the crime he was alleged to have committed than OJ Simpson

Apparently, you do not understand the Constitution. When you work for someone else, you have no Freedom of Speech, period. They are entertainers, getting paid millions and have children watching them. They are just plain stupid because they are defending a scumbag, not a black man.

I will not watch pro football until the owners put a muzzle and leash on these steroid saturated apes.

Quit playing the National Anthem and then see how they protest. On the field if they do anything UN-sportsman-like, they get a fine. Let them do their protest on the field. Let them pay for it.

Time to support our President. Boycott all professional sports until all owners and players toe the President's line. In fact maybe we should consider who we play golf with, who we allow in our church, and which neighborhood we live in. Opposing points of view have no place when we know we're right. Time to remove ourselves from these bums. Either these people are "good Americans" or not. If you're not a Trump supporter time to consider another country.

Members of the Jaguars team kneel for the US national anthem Baltimore Ravens v Jacksonville Jaguars NFL game, Wembley Stadium, London, UK - 24 Sep 2017 (Rex Features via AP Images)

Sunday, 24 Sep 2017 01:07 PM

The owners of the Baltimore Ravens, the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots and other teams on Sunday joined a chorus of NFL executives criticizing President Donald Trump's suggestion that they fire players who kneel for the national anthem.

The statements, including those from Patriots owner Robert Kraft and Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti, contrasted a morning tweet from Trump and further escalated the political drama of the league's game day, which was expected to be one of the most-watched for non-sporting reasons in years.

Bisciotti said he "100 percent" supports his players' decision to kneel during the national anthem. At least seven of them did, joined by more than a dozen Jacksonville Jaguars, before the teams played at Wembley Stadium in London.

Other players linked arms — and Jaguars owner Shad Khan joined them, standing between tight end Marcedes Lewis and linebacker Telvin Smith. He called it a privilege to do so

Well it obvious that for the NFL money means more than honor and respect. and so the Antfa tactics prevail at the NFL

perhaps you should check the contracts of each player and find out exactly what clause, sentence, or paragraph will address their behavior during the national anthem. It is interesting that until 10 or so years ago, NFL teams did not even take the field until after the national anthem, and it was a financial deal made with the US Armed Forces that had the teams take the field before the national anthem to hopefully increase the number of people who would enlist.

Of course there are rules, but when people break or challenge them to appeal to the very principles those rules are intended to maintain, we should, even if grudgingly, respect that. For my own part, I never cared much for this whole kneeling business, because I always figured it would spark exactly what has happened here; that is, we’re not having a conversation about police shootings, we’re having a conversation about kneeling. But there are a lot of things I don’t agree with that I recognize people have the right to do. And that leads us to the other idea of patriotism, which is that love of country doesn’t mean love of symbols, but of the principles in the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

My kids are patriots, not celebrity athletes, making millions by entertaining those that fought so that they can act like fools. None of us will be watching Pro ball for a while. We are all disgusted with them. The President was right. If the owners allow them to act like fools, then the owners do not need the money from the fans.

The Flag and the National Anthem means something to my family. Those athletes do not even know what they are protesting, but if the owners allow them to protest then it's the owner's dime. They also have the right to burn the flag if they wish. Showing their @ss is the norm for them anyway. I helped give them that right. It is theirs to abuse, if they wish. Bet most of them would not make it through the draft, if called upon to serve in a crisis.
