If you are thinking of calling to extend your trail fees 17 days, save your breath. TV says this will not happen and it is just a rumor started here.

Unavailability of trails has cost 40 cents a day. Does that really matter in the big scheme of things? Think of how much revenue was lost from those who do not pay trail fee and just pay each time. Think of maintenance on the trails and how much your trail fee could be raised next year. Is it really worth 40cents per day?

Yeah...I'm not quite at that level of being petty. Seems a bit childish...I wonder if they ever pay their doctor when they're late or demand their doctor pay them when they're behind schedule? I'll bet they don't.

As I understand it, the hurricane was an act of God and not the developer. If true, I suggest that anyone seeking any kind of fee reimbursement or other golfing adjustment seek same from a higher authority than the developer! :)

Thanx for asking - all's well - minor siding issue - nothing re the interior or roof! Refrig lost all of its contents so am starting anew with a well cleaned refrig to hold all the goodies after we arrive! ;) Neighbor had roof over their lanai peel approx half way off the house; and a friend a few blox away lost their entire roof!
Heading for the Maine cabin this weekend - need to make sure it is still intact after a couple of somewhat minor tornadoes [if there are such things] roared thru within 2 miles of the house this summer! Prop mgmt indicated all was well when they checked back then - we'll just make sure and then enjoy watching the fall foliage come into full bloom! My favorite of all places/times on this good earth! Imagine - a tornado and a hurricane in my life within months of each other! What a bunch of hot air! lol
Have been glad to be able to keep up with all that's been going on in TV since Irma roared thru; and to read that so many friends have fared well.

I believe this establishes a new "high" on the normal "Villager's Cheapness" Scale. No congratulations in order though.
Some people have real problems and others are just real bored apparently.

Not even close. About a year ago there was a post from someone that was complaining he/she got charged 6 cents too much tax at a store

OK, but could most of us agree that this would at least rank in the top 10 in the rankings? Come on, to put that out there takes a lot of squeakiness and practice.

We need to establish a baseline. Where would "Villages Lemonade" fall on the scale. How about charging one's electric cart at the Postal Station?

I used to golf with the heir to a well known trucking operation. A round of golf took 18 minutes longer than necessary because he searched each tee box for usable tees.....no, he wasn't tidying up the course...he just didn't want to buy tees.

Remember the TV ad America's friendliest home town - live like a millionaire on a retirement budget. Many a ten cent millionaire migrated south. Like wearing red flags especially at the town squares after a couple pops.
