It was later shown that this is NOT from a display in the United States Holocaust Museum.
I apologize for my mistake, but the signs mentioned are still significant.

For those who cannot enlarge the picture:
Early Warning Signs of Fascism

Powerful and Continuing Nationalism

Disdain for Human Rights

Identification of Enemies as a Unifying Cause

Supremacy of the Military

Rampant sexism

Controlled Mass Media

Obsession with National Security

Religion and Government Intertwined

Corporate Power Protected

Labor Power Suppressed

Disdain for Intellectuals and the Arts

Obsession with Crime and Punishment

Rampant Cronyism and Corruption

Fraudulent Elections

credit: Laurence W. Britt wrote about the common signs of fascism in April 2003, after researching seven fascists regimes. Those were Adolf Hitler’s Nazi Germany, Benito Mussolini’s Italy, Francisco Franco’s Spain, Antontio de Oliveira Salazar’s Portual, George Papadopoulos’s Greece, August Pinochet’s Chile, Mohamed Suharto’s Indonesia.

It was NOT "a display at The United States Holocaust Museum", but rather a poster for sale for a time in the gift shop.

There is no curriculum vitae of a Dr. Lawrence Britt who is supposedly it's author.

FACT CHECK: Did a Holocaust Museum Display a Poster Listing 'Early Warning Signs of Fascism'? (http://www.snopes.com/holocaust-museum-warning-signs-fascism/)

I spent a good amount of time hunting for this guy and all I can conclude is that he wrote the poster we are discussing.

Argh...why do I bother?

BOTH sides are fascists. BOTH sides want "my way or the highway".
