she is not complaining about Trump....the supplies have reached the ports but the problem is the roads are blocked or flooded to get them into the communities. she thanked him for being so fast in suspending the Jones amendment which prohibits foreign ships from docking there so that other countries could also help....there is a general arriving there today to try to coordinate the ground activities better. there are thousands of FEMA and military on the ground, even from before Irma, let alone Maria....it is just a very challenging situation with no nearby states or towns to help people out.

As he walked through Aguadilla's town hall recently, Mr Méndez boasted about each employee's university or graduate-school credentials as he introduced them. The trouble, he says, is that “All they want to do is find security only. They have no ambition...Everybody wants to work for the government.” Manuel Reyes, of the Puerto Rico Manufacturers Association, also sees little hope that the government's role will shrink. “There is no light at the end of the tunnel,” he says, “because we are still in denial.” And the rest of America is still indifferent.

So the mayor complains? Big deal, she's a liberal (Democrat) what would you expect. The governor said Trump is doing a great job and that he is getting great help. Funny thing is that he is also a Democrat. But, everyone knows that some folks are never happy. If they were so worried about receiving adequate assistance, they should have accepted statehood when offered many times in the past. Nope, they would rather go federal tax free and take our welfare.

Shame on trump. This woman is on air begging for help and ******* trump is busy bitching about the NFL.

Is there no limit to Trumps evil?

Mayor of Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, Angel Perez described how his experience with government assistance has been different than what Cruz described because he is actually attending FEMA meetings and proactively helping his community:

“My experience is different. I have been participating in different meetings at the headquarters of FEMA and our government and the help is coming in and right now my experience is different from hers. I’m receiving help from the government, we are receiving assistance from FEMA, I got people over here helping us with applications for the people that have damage in their houses. And we have here in Guaynabo, we have thousands of people that lost partially or totally their houses.”

When Perez was asked about the “Genocide” comment Cruz made, the Mayor responded:

“I don’t know why she is saying that. What I can tell you is my experience. She is not participating in any meetings and we had a couple already with the governors and with representation of FEMA and of HUD, of these whole federal agencies that have given us help and she’s not participating in those meetings and some mayors from her political party have been participating, so I don’t know why she is saying that. My experience is very different.”

By all accounts, the federal government has responded better than could be expected to this tragedy. One Democratic shill does not the truth make.

PR was devastated by a huge natural event and relief supplies and helpers were dispatched as soon as humanly possible. Relief people and supplies were at the ports in a very short time. Getting those supplies to the interior is a difficult task but considering the situation it is going well. Everything is devastated!!!!!!! nobody could get supplies into the interior any quicker.
So, are we blaming the natural disaster on Trump?? Are we blaming the destroyed roads and missing bridges on Trump?? Are we blaming Trump for calling out the Mayor who is standing in front of huge piles of relief supplies in her clean clothes and lack of sweat??
I just wish folks would look at all the facts and not just parrot the democrats fake news.

One of the reasons that the supplies did not get where they were needed is that members of the Puerto Rico Teamsters union refused to transport them.

And as you point out, roads and bridges are out. The federal government sent 140 helicopters to help distribute supplies, but they were planning on supplies that could be trucked into areas getting there. The helicopters are supposed to deliver the supplies to areas that are inaccessible by truck.

FALSE

The Conservative Treehouse then went on to claim, again falsely, that the cause of this shortfall in truck drivers was a deliberate, coordinated strike action by the local Teamsters union. Similar claims were also made by the Gateway Pundit and entrepreneur Kambree Kawahine Koa.

Been in operation for two years.

"The House Committee on Natural Resources is looking into how this contract went to Whitefish Energy. So it seems the potential to discover more about how a two-year-old company with just two full-time employees managed to secure a $300 million contract to repair Puerto Rico's infrastructure is real — it may just take a while."

"The private-equity firm that finances Whitefish, HBC Investments, was founded by Joe Colonnetta, who serves as its general partner."

Federal Elections Commission data compiled by The Daily Beast shows Colonnetta contributed $20,000 to the Trump Victory PAC during the general election, $2,700 to Trump’s primary election campaign (then the maximum amount permitted), $2,700 to Trump’s general election campaign (also the maximum), and a total of $30,700 to the Republican National Committee in 2016 alone.

Colonnetta’s wife, Kimberly, is no stranger to Republican politics either; shortly after Trump’s victory, she gave $33,400 to the Republican National Committee, the maximum contribution permitted for party committees in 2016.

Joe Colonnetta is not the only Republican connection to the controversial Whitefish contract. On Monday, The Washington Post reported that Whitefish Chief Executive Officer Andy Techmanski is friends with Trump administration Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke. Moreover, Whitefish is located in Zinke’s hometown of Whitefish, Monatana.

And the democratic party is the party of the EXTREMELY uneducated.

Think about it...just about all the blacks are Ds...so there's almost 50 million "idiots" right there. Would you like a head to head comparison of them to republican whites?

How about women compared to men? Want to do a head to head there too? The D party is full of women...because women are liberal.

Liberals teach college...so it APPEARS that liberals are smart. But the FEW "smart" professors...are VASTLY outnumbered by the 99%...the 99% who are minority/female idiots.

You liberals you're always saying things that just aren't true...liberals lie...the end justifies the means.

And you REFUSE to hear anything that goes against what you "know". You don't WANT to know the truth.
