I think every penny of his money should go to the families of the people he harmed. EVERY penny.

I am sure that the victims' lawyers will think that way as well.

But these families need money now for many various expenses.

I have lots of relatives in Nevada still with some in Las Vegas. All are safe.

Not sure what the law is concerning this event since the man is dead. You can want anything but it will be the law that decides.

Las Vegas shooting victims face ‘uphill battle’ in legal cases – Las Vegas Review-Journal (https://www.reviewjournal.com/crime/shootings/las-vegas-shooting-victims-face-uphill-battle-in-legal-cases/)

This might be of interest. It does not mention the shooter. Just the casino and bump stock manufacturer.

I have found that when lawyers are involved and money may be at the end of the problem they can get quite creative.

Not one cent will go to the families if Paddock had a will.
NOT ONE CENT!

And why should it go to the families?
It should to to the 500+ survivors of the shooting if it goes to anyone, providing there is no will.
No matter what, there probably will be a huge fight over that money.

Emotions run high and the tendency toward revenge is in the air, and revenge is served best when cold.

The "act"did indeed shock the conscious. Litigation will purse with hundreds of plaintiffs going against anyone and everyone that is remotely connected to the actions/events of Paddock, and especially those defendants with "deep pockets" . It may well include the NRA.

Documents and interrogatories be pursued and depositions taken and along the way some defendants may be dismissed from the lawsuit but not before attempts to extract settlement money from them.

As to the fact question was Mandalay Bay Casino negligent in any manner?

Was the manufacturer of the bump stock negligent in any manner? The ATF approved the bump stock during the last Administration so its been around for some time

Paddock was alleged to be taking some form of medication. Was that medication the source of his dysfunction?

Who prescribed that medication? Was he under a doctor's care? If so is the doctor negligent? the Pharmacy? The manufacturer of this medication?

Two things are certain 1) if the plaintiff attorneys hit they will be the biggest winners 2) you can be sure one way or another politicians will use this tragedy for political gain and nothing in the end will be solved.

Perhaps because the ability for anyone, even experts, to predict accurately when any one person is capable of snapping to the point of such insanity appear elusive, no one is to blame? But you can be sure that plaintiff attorneys will alleged, because you had such an event, someone must be blamed.

Personal Best Regards:

I thought that is what I wrote. It should go to the people he harmed. Survivors, wounded...family members left behind.

Another example of people with mental illness (of any kind), not being given the attention that we need, weather we like it or not in some cases. In a large percentage the homeless that we look the other way when seen are seriously mentally ill. One day, this issue will not only be talked about, but some sort of positive action taken. What they do now when they thing someone is sick is they give them The Baker Act which holds them for 72 hours, gives them cigarettes and tranquilizers and releases them, end of story. In 2005 I was forced to retire a dream job and move to a quieter laid back place. Manic Depression, go figure? I apologize or any insensitive remarks I may have spouted lately, I have no excuse and I know better. Anything I may have said or insinuated please disregard.........Ed Doran......... If I still lived in LA I would have been there. I have learned unless you are a lawyer, proficient in wrongful death cases. do not assume anything. Very slippery slope.

Estate law is extremely important to many so I would see why there is a very strong argument that if this Las Vegas mass murderer had a will that the survivors and victims of this heinous attack will get nothing. OJ Simpson has not paid the victims' families all that much unless I am mistaken. O.J. still owes millions to murder victim’s families | Page Six (http://pagesix.com/2017/07/19/o-j-still-owes-millions-to-murder-victims-families/)
