Since I've only owned one bike in my life, that would be it. When I was 25 I purchased a Kawasaki KZ400 in 1975 for $1299. I didn't own a car, so for a whole year I drove that bike all over St. Petersburg and Clearwater. Rain, love bugs, wind, and worse of all, old people trying to run you off the road. Finally in 1976 I moved up and bought a 1976 Honda Civic new, cost $3300, it wasn't big but it was safer and drove that car for 11 years. That Kawasaki was one nice bike.

Gave up my motorcycle license about a year before we moved to The Villages. I never gave a Trike a thought. I should probably be satisfied with my memories. A man should recognize his limits. This is over for me. Each one of the bikes above is great in its own way. After owning Harley's I bought a brand new Kawasaki 454 belt drive and the salesman begged me not to buy it, way to small. I should have listened it didn't end up good. My kids are into motorcycles, well they call them motorcycles, I don't ask too much because I worry about the way they drive, like they are in a video game.

Has to be the one I built for my grandson. I bent every tube, welded every joint, put it together, and painted it....but I was too big to ride. Grandson is too big now....in training to be a NASCAR crew member. Still have the little bike...in storage in Lady Lake.

Oh what memories, my first bike was a used 1976 Kawasaki KZ750 twin,
it was a very fast bike and was a forerunner to the crotch rockets that followed.
Eventually got a Honda Shadow Sabre, and road that for quite awhile and end up with my last bike,
a 2007 Triumph America.
Loved that bike the best, but decided to hang up the cleats a couple years before buying in TV.
Glad I road as long as I did...great memories!
