View Full Version : Trump, the "F**king Moron"

10-11-2017, 12:48 PM
On July 20, Donald Trump attended a meeting at the Pentagon with members of his national security team and Cabinet officials. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson was on hand, and after the president left the room, the nation’s chief diplomat reportedly called Trump a “moron” – or more specifically, a “f***ing moron.”

The president saw a slide that showed the size of the U.S. nuclear stockpile over the past seven decades. Trump saw the highest point on the chart – a half-century ago, the American stockpile was at 32,000 – and “told his team he wanted the U.S. to have that many now.”

Trump's pattern of reckless incompetence on this issue is unnervingly long. In one of the GOP primary debates, for example, Trump seemed baffled by a simple question about the nuclear triad. In one of the general election debates, Trump was asked about nuclear first-use policy, and delivered two completely contradictory answers over the course of a few seconds.

This is the same Republican who, over the course of his campaign, suggested more countries – specifically South Korea, Japan, and Saudi Arabia – should develop nuclear-weapons programs for their own national security interests.

Around the same time, Trump seemed genuinely confused by the meaning of the word “proliferation.”

Hmmm that's what the left said when Trump "mis-spoke"about the NFL yet he gave the issue substantial traction.

You are defending NBC who have no conscious when it comes to promoting fake news and worse yet suppressing legitimate news and here I speak to the fact that NBC squashed a reporters story about the left's once upon a time favorite "Harvey Weinstein".

it seems the left all held their breath until the Board at Weinstein's studio gave him the boot. Now watch all the celebs ( drama queens) pretend to be PSTD victims:D what a cesspool

Alex Jones, of INFO WARS, one of if not the Presidents favorites has this to say about the Las Vegas shooting

"Mr. Jones — who has propagated conspiracy theories about the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre in 2012 and the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks — has portrayed Mr. Paddock by turns as an agent of the Islamic State, a leftist activist, an anti-Trump radical and a possible stooge for a broader conspiracy intent on disrupting democracy.

“Could Stephen Paddock, the lone Vegas shooter, have been a patsy to kick off the left’s war with the right in the streets of America?” Mr. Jones wrote on his Facebook page last week. The post accompanied a video titled “Video Shows Second Shooter During Vegas Massacre,” which by Monday had been viewed about 1.1 million times."

On Oct. 12, 2016, The New York Times published a story entitled, "Two Women Say Donald Trump Touched Them Inappropriately."

Sound familiar from the news

A year later, despite a threat from his attorney that Trump would have "no option but to pursue all available actions and remedies," Trump hasn't sued. That's significant because Today, the statute of limitations expires on a libel claim brought in New York over the publication's groping story.

A threat of legal action that doesn't actually lead to a court filing falls under a category of speech known as bluster

Three of those women filed lawsuits, which were eventually withdrawn, alleging that they were sexually assaulted by Trump. Additionally one accuser filed a defamation lawsuit in 2017 after Trump called her a liar.[5] In addition to these lawsuits, Trump has also been publicly accused of non-consensual kissing, or non-consensual groping of breasts, buttocks and genitalia, by at least twelve more women."

"President Trump on Wednesday offered perhaps his most chilling comments yet about the freedom of the press, saying it was "frankly disgusting the way the press is able to write whatever they want to write" -- this despite the Constitution saying, "Congress shall make no law ... abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press.""

The NFL players are much much more important. Those sons of bitches and my apologies for stealing the words of the President.

Why should anyone be interested in governing or what is best for our country.....lets get those sons of bitches and just ignore all the issue right in front of us.

"Republican officials reportedly imagine Donald Trump's chief of staff and defence secretary have had conversations about "physically [restraining]" him if he "lunged for the nuclear football."

Gabriel Sherman, a contributing editor at New York Magazine, told MSNBC's All In with Chris Hayes a senior republican had told him they imagined conversations between General John Kelly and James Mattis about what to do if Mr Trump attempted to launch a nuclear strike.

Mr Sherman said: “I just want to put into context a conversation that I had with a very prominent Republican today, who literally was saying that they imagine General Kelly and Secretary Mattis had conversations about if Trump lunged for the nuclear football, what would they do? "

If it is any consolation, Trump's approval ratings are in the 30's. That means over 2/3 of the country doesn't think much of him. (the right wing fringe group on TOTV is a minority, ignore them). And what is encouraging is the Republicans in Congress are now having the conversations about how unhinged he is, and openly speaking about their fears of him having the nuclear codes. The question is, do they have the courage to do anything? Can they put patriotism before party? And can they do it before he starts World War III?

In the meantime, Mueller toils on, and it appears there is a tremendous amount of ammunition to support collusion. Im sure they are trying to cross all the "t's" and dot all the "i's" so they can get indictments and eventual convictions that will stick. Patience.

Assuming we can get the moron out of office, we still have a lot of re-building to do, as far as our national reputation in the eyes of the rest of the world. Backing out of treaties, tweeting insults about other world leaders, insulting and blaming the victims in Puerto Rico....he has made America look foolish, petty, and small.

"Imagine" is mentioned twice in this link - how in the world is this considered news?? I have to be missing something here, right?!?

It seems the male poster here loves to call women names, comment on their physical appearance, is frightened by the idea of menstrual blood, etc. but has no substantive, intelligent addition to the conversation. Are we dealing with a Trump doppelganger?

Abby...

Post 22, I was very specific I did not want to link to this story.

In post 30, I was called a "fag" and challenged, so in post 31, I simply posted it.

You are becoming like your brotherhood on here.

I don't post links that are not credible. I didn't post this originally because of that.

One of your buddies called me out on it, with the added insults, so I posted it sans comment.

Ok. So you're saying it wasn't credible then? It did seem pretty ludicrous to me with the talk of how they imagined the various personnel saying these things. Don't you agree? Why would anyone even call that news? It's more akin to gossiping than news. How low can these guys go? This is a good example of why I doubt so much of the reporting out there. I've said before I'd much rather listen to someone being directly interviewed than all these news commentators referencing that an unnamed source said this or that. Seems to be a lot of that kind of reporting going on these days and we are expected to buy into it just because they said so.

Ding ding ding...we have a winner...congratulations Abby...you know that the "news" is really propaganda. Turn off the TV...close the newspapers...just do the puzzles. It's FULL of MISinformation.

You get the curse of knowing the truth...that pretty much EVERYTHING you see and hear on TV is a lie...propaganda.

You've taken the red pill. You can't go back...once you know...you can never believe them again. You'll start noticing the discrepancies...it reinforces itself. You'll begin laughing at how brazen they are with their lies.

No, stop being like all the other trolls.

I doubted the SOURCE, not a SOURCE I would like to use.

THE NEWS IS CREDIBLE IF YOU use credible sources, AND if you actually read things instead of scanning for things that represent your viewpoint.

It is total bunk that the MSM does not report facts. That is one of the things that this President has started to try to intimidate. They report facts.

I was very clear in my post that I was uncomfortable and not sure if I specified the source or not, but you are becoming like the trolls.

Defend this terrible, horrible person in the WH with whatever means. The media is picking on him......the judges pick on him...the other candidates picked on him.

It is sad..you seem so intelligent and yet you also want to put words in my mouth.

Your support for those who use obscenities is noted. At any cost defend this very bad person.

On the main board they are at the lying in support of this person.

NFL has very very seldom aired the anthem and now with you people that is an issue. HOW ABOUT TALKING ABOUT GOVERNING.....OH...wait he does not do that

Funny, I doubted the creditability of your claim, turns out I was right.

Just another columnist's opinion piece that you considered fact and resulted in a other one of your DRAMA filled posts.

Note: If anyone sees the word "concern" in Rockface's post...it's only DRAMA...

Wow.......apparently I totally misread/misunderstood where you were coming from. And now I'm a troll because I don't agree with you? Thanks for explaining that.

My point was not to defend anyone and my view of the media did not start with Trump. This misinformation and swaying of the public has been going on for a long time. If you have not noticed, you have been turning a blind eye to it. I say that because YOU seem too smart to me not to know that.

I was not attempting to put words in your mouth.....did you notice the question marks? This is the problem with the written word vs speaking in person I guess. What concerns me is that it appears you want no discussion with anyone of a different opinion. That is unfortunate and may go along with the blind eye theory above. You have asked me not to engage with you before. Maybe I should stick to that. Again, unfortunate, because I don't mind differing opinions and believe that I can learn something from that type of discussion if I'm willing to listen.

Btw, I did read the source you provided - several times - because I couldn't believe what I was reading!

I did not ask for agreement at all, and your troll is showing.

You can attack me anytime but you side with the person who called me a "fag"...

YES, I have become stubborn in my posts for sure...not as accepting for sure.

Having people support a President who trashes free speech and disrespect our country while yelling at others and having posters like you remain totally silent until they find a need to bash whatever he is bashing, right or wrong is unnerving to me.

I will get back to discussion of some sort when that is what happens on here.

I am tired of being called names because I love the country and totally fume at what this president is doing.

Republicans stand for nothing any more...they are simply the anti progressive party.

I know I am a bit edgy but people like you who now seem to support the worst of us.....support the demeaning of anything american by this man scare me. Tolerating and NEVER criticizing the trolls on here who are ALL Trump supporters but blasting anyone who might feel he is a threat to our country....sorry

IF anyone of the other party did 10% of what this man has done you would be on here calling them names....he is tearing the presidency apart
