Blade Runner 2049 (2017) - Rotten Tomatoes (https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/blade_runner_2049/)

You will probably have to have seen the first one of these to understand a lot of this one.

Loved it though.

Really liked that they have some of the actors from the original Blade Runner in this movie. Really liked seeing Edward James Olmos in this one. Edward James Olmos - Rotten Tomatoes (https://www.rottentomatoes.com/celebrity/edward_james_olmos/)

Thumbs up for Blade Runner 2049 for sure. Great movie and not just for the fans of the first one.

Being a huge Blade Runner fan I couldn't wait to see the sequel. My expectations must have been way too high. The film was too long for the subject matter. The visuals did not disappoint but the plot was too convoluted. Two hours and a tighter script would have been perfect.

How about that Sean Young cameo? Great visual effect. The real Sean Young is nearly Harrison Ford's age.

So, maybe I'm dyslexic.

Made the trek down to Altamonte Springs when it first opened to see it in Dolby Vision (high dynamic range video) projection and Dolby ATMOS (surround plus ceiling channels) sound and was not disappointed in the experience. Liked the movie enough to go see it again tonight at the Lake Sumter Landing theater. I found the concepts it brought up as compelling as the original, the story involved but not all that convoluted, the direction excellent (very much like Kubrick in some scenes) and the acting top-notch. A very worthy sequel.

It should be out on Blu-Ray and DVD soon and may be out on Digital already. I want to check some things out in this flick.
