That's true. I went to BYU Law School for about ten days in 1982. Quite a contrast in how they treated women there as opposed to women at the University of MN Law School where I graduated in 1989.

There were two women in my Class of 1985 for BYU Law School. The U of MN Law School Class of 1989 had more women than men in it.

I had a Puerto Rican dancer as a roommate who was a recent convert to Mormonism who had me targeted as his offering to the LDS. And a few unmarried underclass women had me on their radar immediately. Most of the men at the Law school were married and had done their missionary service.
