I'm officially rated 3.5 through TV rating clinic. Per rater I was told I am a strong 3.5 player.
I will be back down in early November( 7-15, still a snowflake) and I am looking for the players that are rated 3.5/4.0, level to get some good competitive higher level play.
So for those of you that have participated in the ratings clinic, the skill/drills, or strategy clinics, where do you play? Would love to join you.
Thanks!

All over, any rec center from 8 am to 10am, it's called open play, all card carriers are legit. After those hours look in the rec guide for groups looking for additional players. Some are closed prunes and don't want new grape in the pie. If you run into them just move it on down the line.

Pimlico every day. Seabreeze if you think you teeter on 4.0. Colony. Rohan. Just show up and ask around. The players will let you know sooner rather than later. Pickleball players are a really nice bunch...

You didn't indicate if you were looking for men's play, women's play or mixed?

Thanks for the responses! I have played at Pimlico. Agree pretty good play, but sometimes it is hard, harder, hardest and not too much of the dink game. Just looking for other options. Seabreeze has been recommended by others so that will be on my list to check out.
I am female will play with anyone, but prefer mixed and like to mix it up with the guys

Ask around for Jeff Shank's email address, or show up at his intermediate clinic held once per month (must sign up at Lake Miona Rec center). He is very interested in promoting the dinking game.

Also, he was interviewed here Pickleball Classes…Be a Student of the Game! | Pickleball Channel (http://www.pickleballchannel.com/2014/08/pickleball-classes-be-a-student-of-the-game).

Jeff could probably put your in touch with dinkers at your level of play. Or you can meet them at one of his clinics.

We're at Big Cyprus every morning as soon as it's light enough to play.

The OP is looking for a particular style of play at a particular level. It would be helpful if those who are responding with times and places would state whether the style of play tends toward hard and harder or the dinking, as the pros do.

Nothing against either style. I prefer the faster paced style because dinking gives me a backache!
