We are looking at attending our 1st polo match and wanted suggestions on picking seats. Upper Stadium are priced highest so does that mean they are the best? General admission does not appear to assign a seat so is it standing or you pick your seat that day?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank You!:D

You can see all the action from the upper level reserved seats, but tailgating is fun and you really get a feel for the power of the horses when you are close to the field. Can’t go wrong either way. Have Fun!

Us too (tailgating). You will need to get there a few minutes early to find a spot to pull into. Many groups
tailgate and make a party of it.

General admission gets you tailgating and the lower level of the grandstand. Usually the upper stadium is occupied by season ticket holders. There are seats in the lower section but not reserved plus you can take your own chairs. I agree with the previous posters, cart tailgating is the best.

We were at today's Polo Matches (not the first time). The 1:00 match was not on the Stadium Field, so you tailgated from your car or golf cart (bring chairs and wine or beer and snacks or their is a "beer cart"....it's a blast). The 3:00 Match was at the Stadium Field with the lower deck being general admission with lots of chairs and some tables as well as the bar and food provided by Katie Belles. It is a fun experience.
