Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace this week spoke out against his own Fox News colleagues who routinely parrot President Trump and bash the media as “fake news.” In an interview with the Associated Press, Wallace confessed: “It bothers me. If they want to say they like Trump, or that they’re upset with the Democrats, that’s fine. That’s opinion. That’s what they do for a living.” He continued on to suggest a rift between the network’s commentary and hard-news operations.

While Wallace did not specifically name any colleagues, it’s quite obvious he was referring to the cabal of hosts–from Sean Hannity to Jesse Watters to Jeanine Pirro to the Fox & Friends trio—who dutifully attack the media and defend the president on every given issue.

Hannity criticized the press in 90 percent of his monologues from May 15 to Sept. 1, according to the liberal media watchdogs Media Matters for America, and used the term “fake news” 67 times.

I believe Chris Wallace should take aim at the entire Fourth Estate who are less than professional, morally bankrupt, interested only in being the one to break the story, even as they invent the story.

Its clear that the MSM always had a liberal bent. However in this day of advanced Technology, including the contribution from Silicon Valley (google, et al) coupled with the politicization of everything news is anything but news. Pure propaganda

Its all slanted, some made up, some not properly investigated, some under reported or never reported.

The manipulation by the Fourth Estate is nothing short of disgusting and they have no shame and have lost their moral bearings. The recent Gold Star phone call fiasco is a prime example. Is nothing sacred and is an example of how politicized this nation has become?

Trump is spot on in his critique of "fake news". Trump is right to Twitter. However Trump needs better impulse control. But then what makes us good makes us bad.

Personal Best Regards: No President has attacked our First Amendment rights more viciously than Trump. He is Hitlerian in his insistence of "fake news" and has convinced many of his followers that the media is "nothing short of disgusting". It is the job of the press to report what the President says and does. A free press is the ONLY thing that stands between us and dictatorship. The Gold Star phone call fiasco is, indeed, a prime example. That phone call, as was repeatedly proved, was on a speakerphone in a car full of people who heard and reported EXACTLY what was said. It was Trump who made a big deal about it, who lied about it, who threatened (falsely) that he could "prove" he was correct. That's only one of the many times he threatened he could "prove" something that he could not-in short, he lied, he lied about lying, then he threatened.

But, Rubicon (and of course Gracie) does not feel having a President who attacks freedom of speech, openly lies, makes phoney accusations is really an issue worth discussing.

So, Rubicon and Gracie,.....you KNOW factually (let me know if you need lots of backup for that) that the President is a chronic, impulsive liar (note the firestorm he began this week by lying) You also know he makes serious, felonious accusation never supplying any substance for them, just destroying people personally.

BUT you do not feel that is an issue to be concerned with at all, and seem irritated that anyone would want to discus that.

At the same time, you attack ALL media as liars, and accuse them of making things up. Factually, your chosen network is the ONLY one where substantiated fallacies occur. The ONLY one. These attacks by you two are NEVER EVER substantiated.

You express or did yesterday, annoyance when people supply links and cut and paste info to substantiate what they say. You, neither of you ever even read links provided, I suppose because everyone is lying.

You also attack fellow Americans for, as you say, not being responsible for their actions, but do not hold your own President responsible EVER.

You lecture about morals and character, especially with minorities and/or immigrants yet you support a very immoral person in the WH.

Why do I mention Rubicon and Gracie by name.

Because they simply cannot help themselves making judgements on others. They lecture all the time.

I sure am tired of it....I don't see them as oracles, just anti Americans (all you can be if you support attacking our constitution and support deception from the White House) who, for some reason, support a man instead of their country.

What he set loose this past week was inexcusable BUT you excuse it.

When you have past leaders of the free world, from different political party's no less, agreeing on something...it's past time to take notice. :ohdear:

Your comment speaks for itself. However, let me point out that uneducated voters elected a poorly educated TV game show host and the country is in chaos because of it.

Before you jump in a scream how "well educated" Trump is, there are numerous examples of his ignorance. He had to transfer into Wharton, and then only after his father gave the school millions. He had a tutor and still barely made it. Naturally, the press went after the Dean's List on the school's records, and Trump was nowhere to be found. Yay once again for a free press.

I'm curious as to why no one in the media...is highlighting Kelly's massive hypocrisy?

The fact that the congresswoman was an old friend of the family and just happened to be in the car with the widow when Trump called was purely coincidence (given that the widow had no idea when the call was coming)...and also totally understandable from anyone with a modicum of intelligence.

What is MUCH less understandable, is why Kelly (and others) were in the room with Trump in the first place...when he made this supposed 'private' call?

The flaming hypocrisy of that simple fact, just adds additional proof...of Trumps MASSIVE insecurity.

As a country, we need to hope that narcissistic insecurity doesn't manifest itself into a pique of rage...from the moron who now has the nuclear codes.

Let's just hope that when, not IF, Trump flies into a short-term rage and is threatening to start something he can never take back...the adults in the room will play keep-away from him until sanity (relative, of course) returns. :ohdear:

Couple things, Jeannie. The president is not good at communicating. (the understatement of the year, lol) Most of us have some of what he tries to say figured out, but most of the time, people who voted for him cringe when he steps up to speak.

Trump was the choice many of us made because we were sick of the far left way of running things and we were also sick of the far right who was running the GOP. Most of us and some Democrats were sick of people owned by other people.

No one wants war, but ignoring the little creep over there is not the answer either, ignoring him is what President Obama did. And he kept building and testing and building and testing..........

I still say, that today, we are far better off than electing Hillary Clinton. NOT because she is a woman and a Democrat, but because she is .......underhanded and power hungry. IMHO. I may be biased toward males. I didn't like Sarah Palin either. I did like Gabrielle Griffin a lot before she was harmed. Although I am a Christian, not an excellent church goer, I turned from those that were very religious. I think this country is sick of people telling us how to talk and think and calling us racists and now white supremacists. I do know some racists but I don't think I have ever made the acquaintance of a white supremacist, nor do I ever want to. It makes me so angry when people call Republicans, white supremacists. BARF.

Let me understand this.

You made a serious accusation, and I asked you to give one example.

You did not render an opinion...YOU MADE AN ACCUSATION

I am and have been rendering an opinion. My understanding of a discussion forum is...well discussion. You free a direct accusation and call it an opinion.

Please just supply backup for your accusations.

Where am I seeing this wrong ?

You post an accusation with not even an attempt to justify. You then say you rendered an opinion. Do you understand the difference ?

Glad to engage in conversation in anything, but that requires both parties to explain and make a case...you just make accusations. If I am being thick, please explain because in my life experiences, people don't simply accuse others without supporting what they say, and then call it an opinion. How do you discuss that ? I simply have asked you multiple times to supply just one example, and without fail, you just ignore that.

This story has no facts, just a bunch of people who produce the hate videos "are feeling the hurt—and they believe that they may be on a blacklist for having the wrong opinions."

The quote is from your story, but I now understand and certainly will stop expecting any conversation that is lucid or of reality.

I feel stupid and sorry.

I will never even try to engage with such extremists as it appears we have on here. I never thought Rubicon was in that camp but here it is......

Nobody can converse with alt right extremists, and to even mention Alex Jones is an insult,

Was warned by phone that this forum was gaining rep of an alt right white nationalist site, but I was surely naive.

It does explain so much however about Rubicon and Gracie, etc all.

I do suggest that anyone on here read about this alt right nationalist movement.

Listen Rocky...America is now 51% minorities and only 49% white. We ARE at the tipping point. IF we continue..."America" is lost...it will vanish...becoming a Mexico II. America cannot survive with a population of only 20% white.

Listen to me.

My personal belief system has no place in it to judge people placed on the color of their skin, where their parents were born, whether they were born in this country, or what religion they were born into or practice.

The black peoples you demean have only had their freedom for 50 years, a drop in the bucket in history. They grew up with a different value system based on the situation in which they were placed. When you speak of neighborhoods, you imply all folks are black, and all are criminal or bad in some way. You ignore the white people in the same neighborhood who grew up with the same value system. Certainly not because of their skin color, but their economic system.

I judge people by their words and action, nothing else matters..nothing.

As to the general theme here, I do not tolerate radical left wingers nor radical right wingers. THEY ARE RADICAL AND EXTREME. They have that moniker for a reason.

I knew that Rubicon was to my "right" but believed him when he professed to have conservative values. I now know he does not, which is why he places no value at all on morality or character. Steve Bannon, the alt right leader trashed President Bush this week along with Sen McCain. I would be proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with Bush and McCain against Trump and Bannon.

Throughout the years, many have said that when the facist arrive they will come rolled in a flag, carrying a Bible. Rubicon, Gracie and the rest represent that movement, and frankly spoke to a few people about this site.

You can demean anybody who is not white, not extreme in their views, believe in morals, and pas judgement on line, but I will not discuss with you, Rubicon, Gracie or their ilk. They are extremists and very dangerous from my perspective.

I will stand for morals, character, truth, acceptance before anything. They are banking on hate and prejudice to win over, and they have no chance.

I now know why they avoid discussion of Trump. While I was sarcastic about them supporting lies and immorality and being non patriotic, I was more right than I realize. They are un American. I know what a real American looks like, and acts like.

I feel plain stupid for not realizing what they are and what this forum has allowed to ooze in here.

I might add that if the motivation for accusing the media of "making things up" is simply because Alex Jones professed it, then I fear for the hearts and minds of those people.

Incredible to think how "immature" the brain is to allow that.

To allow that kind of thing to infect you is indicative of serious problems.

To then call yourself a patriot as they have done, when you throw away the principles that made this country great because of hate based on skn color, or heritage, or religion is the very epitome of something...a word I am grasping for.

This is not what started the Tea Party....this is what started the Nazis, and that is a fact.

Sad as hell.

Well how about judging by what SPECIES they are? Negros are NOT of the same genetic line as EVERY other race. If you put an Asian, a Caucasian, and a negro in a room together...and you have to decide...which is NOT like the others...which would you pick? Negros are 1/20th genetically different from EVERY other race...EVERYONE but Negros share common ancestors. You HAVE to get it through your head that they are NOT "us". And THAT is why they ALWAYS fail. In EVERY culture...negros are at the very bottom. In EVERY country negros are at the very bottom. Because they are NOT "fully developed "humans". You NOT judging them by their skin color...you are judging their genetics.

Black people have been FREE in many places of the world...throughout history...WHAT have they done with it? They live like WE DID 50,000 years ago. Mud huts and scratching in the ground for roots and grubs. There is no "black civilization" like western civilization. WHITE western civilization that has given you EVERYTHING you have today. Blacks didn't invent it...white men did.

They GROW UP with a different value system because they're a different species. Wolves and dogs have different value systems too...and they're different species.

The neighborhoods are whatever percent they are black...they're all different. Anything over 30-40% and you have a hellhole...always. It doesn't matter how many "good white people" are left. Blacks corrupt. Whenever you find hard core drug use, criminality, violence...blacks are involved. Blacks destroy the neighborhood. Blacks moving in NEVER made a neighborhood better...never.

Well then JUDGE the blacks on their ACTIONS. They DESTROY...EVERY place they take over. EVERY neighborhood that turns black gets worse...every one. EVERY school that turns black they DESTROY...every one. Every country they take over...they destroy. WHAT more proof do you need?

WHAT morals? Most blacks are on welfare...they despise education. Character? Look at their neighborhoods...half are not working but it's a dirty, trashy, mess.

The TRUTH is...we are genetically different...1/20th different...different species different...and it SHOWS in how they act and how we act.

You MUST go to MLK Blvd and SEE what the REAL 99% of blacks are like. You MUST visit a black high school to SEE what the REAL 99% of blacks are like. You MUST visit a welfare office to SEE the percentage of recipients who are white and minorities...90+% are minorities.

OPEN your eyes...we ARE losing our country...whites will be 20% of the population in 30 years.

Well, it’s straight up an entertainment network. So, anyone who thinks he wants to do serious journalism-should look elsewhere for a job.
