After checking this company out online why would anyone use them anyway. Try Senior Adventures or AAA, or anybody else.

Friends just received email that their cruise on MSC in six weeks was cancelled. Web site is "Under Construction"

Doesn't look good.

An article in the online newspaper today, which we can't name on this site, states they are out of business. A Village couple apparently lost $8000 on a December cruise booked through them.

I have always booked our cruises and any other travel direct myself.

About the only benefit a travel agent offers is a bus ride to and from. Which can also be easily offset.

My own personal experience over the years (we cruise a couple of times per year) is the cruise lines offer the better deals.

A personal decision based on one's likes/dislikes.

We did use Legendary Journeys one time when traveling with a group. They did a good job. I still remained in contact with the cruise line for information and continuity only the cruise line can provide.

Recent news report about a couple from Hemingway losing $8000 deposit for a cruise paid to legendary journeys. Apparently hundreds of other passengers were also affected because of legendary journeys failure to submit deposit money to the cruise lines

The worst, incompetent travel agency we ever dealt with. We were on a group cruise from the Villages about 4 years ago. When we went to pick up our documents for the cruise, they had the wrong departure date on all 30 documents. When we complained to the agent, a man came out of the back office and told us we were a bunch of complainers and that's why he moved out of The Villages. He was their Director of Transportation. When coming home, we were told to get off the ship quickly for the bus ride home from Miami. At 9:00 AM we waited for the bus. He showed up at 10:30AM. We boarded and although our entire group was on, we had to wait 1 hour, for two couples not with our group. We departed for our 5 hour ride home and were informed that they were driving the two late arriving couples to Tampa. It took us 10 hours to get home. Good bye Legendary Journeys. Sorry if you lost money, but always take trip insurance, although they probable didn't pay the insurance company either.

I’ve heard so many bad reviews over the years, I’m surprised they stayed in business this long.

When traveling alone, it is easy to book directly, but when you travel with a group, you are at the mercy of the person who is in charge of the trip, Most of Legendary Journeys business comes from groups. Try booking, directly, a trip for 30 or more, including transportation. Not easy or feasible. So sorry for the people who were looking forward to a nice vacation, only to be skunked by some low-lifes.
