This a highly debated topic, and subject to individual tastes. My preference is NYPD. Mallory is also good. Most pizza is at least OK, guess I am not picky

Who cares how many times a subject is posted ? I really do not think the function of a on line forum is to be an encyclopedia, though the " Search " feature is very useful at times particularly when looking for a contractor or new restaurant. My vote is also for Flippers as being the best pizza joint within 10 -20 miles.

While I understand your post, restaurants change or new ones open so the question the OP is asking is a viable one.
BTW, in my humble opinion, I do agree with you about the pizza not being (very) good here. I am originally from New York, where there were some really good pizza joints.

Bravo Pizza at Sumpter Landing is usually good but like all other restaurants around here consistency is hard to find. When you hit a good night it's great on a bad night only so-so. But, that seems to be a consistent problem no matter where or what you eat.

Totally agree. If you put oregano and salt on it is decent.

We tried this place called Legends on 441 across from the Dodge dealer. We had to pre order our pizza. It was the most amazing pie I ever saw. 5 Lbs and thick. I ate one slice and was full, my wife finished 1 1/2 pieces. It was very good and a bargain at $25. They did call it Chicago style? Very lively place and everyone was having a blast. I won't order it again but I would go back for sure.

NYPD near Walmart on 466 always gets our vote. They also have good wings, Greek salad and zeppoles!

IMHO, Chicago pizza is not a pizza its a casserole & that goes for all deep dish pies--if you put lasagna on pizza dough--would you consider it a pizza?

Lasagna has pasta. Wouldn't put it on dough.

You can also get the same pizza at their original location, Giovanni's at Southern Trace Shopping Ctr between Publix and Ace Hardware. They have great Italian dishes as well, but if you go between noon and 1pm, you'll have a few minutes wait.

Best pizza is so subjective. It depends on where you have lived before. In Chicago we tried their pizza and were not overly impressed. The same for when we were in NYC. We took a trip to NYCP and didn't like it. Flippers was okay. We hated the one we got from Mallory. We like the pizza from a Cincy restaurant called La Rosas. There is a lot of good pizza out there.

I Am a former Bostonian and pizza shop owner, NYPD isn’t consistent in their dough or sauce. Flippers hasn’t disappointed me once! So I’ll vote for flippers😁

Interesting...................I had an Ambassador (from NYC), say it's the best NY pizza around. Maybe he is a part-owner.

ThanksI wanted to love it. Staff was friendly. Found the pizza a little dry and not too tasty.
Two others had pasta fagioli soup and did not like it.

I get so sick of people that post that there is no good pizza or food here in or near The Villages. NYPD, Flippers, Little Johnny's and Stavros ALL serve VERY GOOD pizza and are about as good as you are going to find anywhere outside of New York. NYPD and Little Johnny's pizza are traditional New York style pizza and typically taste excellent! Try them yourself and you be the judge. PS... Little Johnny's sells their Large Cheese pie Tuesday nights for $7.99 (Eat in or Takeout). That's a price that can not be beat around here!

I agree, sams choices and doctor it up at home to your liking. For 6 bucks, plus the add on's beats most 20 dollar pizzas around here IMO.

This is like the question; Who has the best grandchild?
We all favor our own and boy do we have a lot of difference in Pizza from our hometowns.
I will make a statement.
There isn't any pizza that tastes as good a La Rosa's from Cincinnati. OR Donato's covered with super thin slices of pepperoni that crisps up and crunches in your mouth.
LaRosa's Pizzeria | Find a Location Near You (https://www.larosas.com/find/)
I also favor Graylyn and Colin as the best grandchildren.
Oh. You didn't ask?

Should that be Little Joey’s in Baylee Plaza or is there a Little Johnny that we’ve never tried yet?
Just curious.
