New sidewalks?

Does anyone know why sidewalks are being built on 441 near Spanish Springs? They don't go anywhere and don't have any access points.

I think you should ask the entity who is building them. It isn't The Villages.

I've 0ften wondered the same thing, and I'm betting Bogie is correct. There is probably a state law governing where sidewalks must be placed, and 441 probably qualifies (but they sure look like a waste of money to me - who will ever walk there?)

They appear to be wide, are they maybe future golf cart paths? They really need to make that section of Morse a four lane. This is just me guessing, so no need to be rude.
