Anyone notice that no MLB players take a "knee"? They all stand proud and tall with their caps over their hearts, even though many were not born here. I’m proud to be a baseball fan (Go Dodgers) but love all teams that are respectful of our country and veterans. Needless to say I am boycotting NFL. Don’t miss it either. College football is more exciting.

Props to the Dodgers and the Astros (go Houston). I haven't watched a NFL game this year (even my beloved KC Chiefs) and do not plan to until significant changes are made. Millionaire urban trash thugs ungrateful to the nation that gave these "oppressed" players the opportunity to make all their money.

MLB players come up through the minors and hence appreciate the opportunity of playing in the majors. NBA AND NFL players are spoiled from high school through college etc hence they believe they are demigods.

I stopped watching the NFL part time because of the showy antics of NFL players and full time with the anti-anthem nonsense.

Perhaps if these guys were drafted into the military first they might have a better understanding of why patriots stand for the national anthem.

Personal Best Regards:

Maybe the football players need to spend a few years serving the country before they start making the big bucks. Might teach them the meaning of respect for the flag and country. The NFL and players can say it is not disrespect for the flag but a protest for other reasons all they want but it IS disrespect to our flag. Make all the excuses you want. You have no respect for the flag or country don't expect me to respect or support you.........

Hope people can see this Forbes article about immigrants in the World Series. I saw many of those last night in both teams in this World Series. Yu Darvish - Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yu_Darvish)

The flag to me represents the protections put in by the US Constitution and the Rule of Law which include the Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Assembly. https://www.loc.gov/law/help/peaceful-assembly/us.php

The National Anthem and the bald eagle flying overhead last night made me stand in my media room. The only thing missing was the Cubs.

At least, the Cubs won the World Series last year and did fairly well this year.

I am hoping that the Astros win this Series but expect it will be the Dodgers in 7.

Super Bowl could be tough to get advertisers to spend millions per minute for advertising with considerably lower viewers if this controversy continues on. A likely viewer boycott, and hopefully but unlikely ticket sale boycott, could drive a few more nails in the NFL coffin.
