Fox News political analyst Brit Hume said late Tuesday that President Trump’s response to Ed Gillespie losing Virginia’s gubernatorial election showed the president “at his worst.”

“Everything is always about him,” Hume tweeted.

After Gillespie lost the election to Democrat Ralph Northam, Trump said Gillespie “did not embrace me or what I stand for.”
