Be aware cable company or Sub contractors

Be aware of sub contractors from any company running buried cable through your property, even in the easements. Cable company contractors cut my main irrigation line in two places. This 1 inch pipe gushed water like water main break. Course I was gone the day the molested my property along the street and didn't find the leak until 4 days later. When neighbor said I have bad leak along the street.

I capped it off down stream of the leaks and figuring out way to by pass the ruptures, plus waiting on some plumbing parts to back connect.

Bottom line if you see them digging make sure you check your systems before they leave. Luckily I can do this myself and not have to pay thousands for repair.

Try contacting villages district customer service, 352-753-4508, they should know who is burying cable, and make arrangements for repairs, and possibly adjusting your water bill. At the least they will now know of the quality of the workers.

Thanks, but guess I'll have to eat it due to I didn't witness it and days after the work, plus I've all ready started the process to bypass the station effected main line. ( area along th street has 13 year old shrubs with waste street rock under ground I'm sure the boring machine when path of least resistance and hit my irrigation main line. I'm sure they will deny it. My message was if you see digging on your property don't think it's done right make sure all you services are working.

Electric cable was laid about two months ago and cut couple cable tv lines, when the neighbor told them they claimed the didn't under stand English, sub contractors for electric company.

That's fine when you have private source, but you really don't have choice when Cable company lays cable in easement (their contractors). In my case the main line was right off the easement (why they done that when they built villa is stupid when it could of be ran feet off street?) and the easement area was fill of waste rock when they built out the Villa's, they ventured into my property and cut main line in two places. I did not hire them, somebody up the street wanted that companies service and there was not underground cable there, so they had to go through several villas property to laid the cable. the point was IF you see work being done make sure your systems are still working before they leave.

Tell who? I wasn't there. Didn't see the company, didn't see the truck, didn't see the workers. Don't even know the day it was done. All based on neighbor said they were digging few days ago on my property . It was at least 4 days after that I turned on irrigation system and found the gushers. And no main line don't fail in two places at once with out help.

I'm not fraudulent insurance claimer, so don't go there, didn't even cross my mind
