Mike Flynn, Trump's former National Security Advisor, may be the next domino to fall. Remember Trump kept Flynn on for weeks even after he knew Flynn was a foreign agent with ties to Russia. Trump only fired Flynn AFTER the newspapers broke the story, and AFTER Trump fired the Assistant Attorney General who told Trump and Pence about Flynn.
How is Mueller going to get Flynn? That's a good story.
His chief deputy is Andrew Weissmann. Weissmann headed the Enron task force, the team of prosecutors charged with investigating the financial collapse of the huge energy corporation. Weissmann and the other Enron prosecutors wanted the cooperation of Andrew Fastow, Enron’s former chief financial officer.
When he charged Fastow, he also indicted a new defendant: Lea Fastow, Andrew’s wife, who had also worked at Enron. With the felony charges pending against Lea Fastow, the couple faced the prospect of spending years in prison while their two young sons were raised by others.
Fastow caved and agreed to testify against the others in Enron.
Mike Flynn's son worked with his father’s lobbying firm and was also involved in the Trump transition. Almost any prosecutor would likely agree that using legitimate charges against him as leverage against his father is fair game.

In addition to the investigation into Russian meddling in the U.S. election, Mueller is reportedly now also probing an alleged plan by Mike Flynn to deliver a Muslim cleric living in the U.S. to Turkey in exchange for millions of dollars, the Wall Street Journal reports. Flynn and his son, Michael Flynn Jr., were allegedly set to receive up to $15 million for helping to forcibly remove Fethullah Gulen from the U.S. and for providing him to the Turkish government. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has repeatedly asked that Gulen be extradited to Turkey.

It is very difficult for me to feel sympathy for Trump, but if he had nothing to do with any of this crap, I feel sorry for his seemingly terrible judgement in people.
What administration, BECAUSE OF THEIR OWN ACTIONS, has spent their first year watching the dominos fall like this.
Obviously, the campaign was deeply involved in Russia, not only financially but on the political level. Obviously, they felt a need to bow to Russia in all cases.
AND remember, we are only hearing the tip of the berg, so to speak. When this stuff all comes down, so many of that campaign will go down also.
Of course, if Trump was involved personally (it does give off a familiar stink based on his history), then all of them should rot in prison for the rest of their lives.
I have tried to ignore and not discuss this very much, but DO appreciate you input. You obviously are "tuned in" as best anyone can be t this point.
It becomes harder and harder to think that the President was unaware of all or any of this crap, but I pray he was unaware because the impact on our country and the office of the Presidency will be great if he knew any of this or tried to impede the investigation.

Very much expected response from someone, if human, is so shallow, short sighted and has little or NO knowledge of what he/she/it speaks of that this response is not only the expected one from this thing, but if human, does not know when to just keep "quiet"

I do worry for the Office of the President of the United States after Donald John Trump. He has made it into a cheap side show that you might see in some reality television show. We shall overcome this though because of the wisdom of the Founding Fathers as long as we can assure a Free Press. If that goes, we are really in trouble. Fox looks more and more like a State Broadcasting Service.

He to me looks more and more like a Russian troll as Wiotte has frequently suggested.

Which news outlets do you consider credible?

Which news outlets do you consider credible?
ALL of the major main stream media report facts. That includes the networks and the major newspapers.
I speak of NEWS, not commentary. Example, I will use Fox only because it is most prevelant there. If you watch the NEWS, it is accurate......but they swing right from the news to commentary and that is where it gets skewed. That even is on all the cable networks as well. I would never suggest getting all your news from cable or even television......not for lying, but omissions and context. Nightly network news is pretty accurate but sort of squeezed for time, so you will never get it all on there. The cable news channels spend too much time on analysis without making a distinct determination and I used Fox because they have become so much in a hurry to go editorial with their message it is hard to discern what is real and what is not. They also have too much presentation of conspiracy theories.
Print media is pretty accurate actually. They all have opinions but the NEWS is accurate. I also think because they can also omit, not major stuff, but little things, everyone should read more than one source. I use Reuters, AP, and a few others depending on how much time I have available.
VERY FEW of the online ONLY sites give you facts, and most supply terrible misinformation. Using websites is a mistake unless it is part of the main stream media.
If we did not learn from the recent hearings how we are being manipulated shame on all of us. My big thing on here is how poster use an email they got as part of large mailing (always in accurate), or a website that shares their views whether liberal or conservative and those all of course have a habit of omitting facts or distorting.
We are supposed to make our decisions based on actual news, yet we allow ourselves to visit websites that consistently present what we already believe and thus just reinforce, even if full of lies.
I avoid websites unless they are affiliated with a main stream media outlet.
Notice how so many on here are loathe to show where they got the facts they are presenting or what they used to come to a conclusion ? Because it is easy to debunk those kind of things. We have had a few posters who when they did supply a link, it was A Russian sponsored or official Russian site.
The bot situation that is coming out slowly now should not be ignored.
Trump followers think it is neat because THIS TIME, they appear to be the beneficiary, but if we stay lazy and do not object, we are at the mercy of those who reduce what brain cells we have to mush and it could be any movement or political theory.
These bots are hell bent on sowing discord and hate among us....look around....it is working.

Excellent summary. It is a shame that this forum contains some people who think the larger the typeface, the more credible the comment, who post the same thing over and over, as if that alone makes their remarks credible...but worst of all are those who cannot discern between journalism and commentary. Shep Smith is one of the few (three) actual journalists on Fox, yet some people think Hannity is dispensing "news", when in fact, it is opinion...and one sided opinion at that. Hannity has been caught a number of times flat out lying. He has admitted it a few times, but usually by tweets, not on air.

A slew of other revelations has directly tied many of the key players in the Trump campaign—most notably Manafort, Page, Cohen, and Michael Flynn—who are specifically mentioned in the Orbis dossier to Russian officials also mentioned in the reports. To take one example, the first report says that Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov was responsible for Russia’s compromising materials on Hillary Clinton, and now we have reports that Michael Cohen had contacted Peskov directly in January 2016 seeking help with a Trump business deal in Moscow. This was after Cohen received the email from Trump business associate Felix Sater saying “Our boy can become president of the USA and we can engineer it. I will get all of Putin’s team to buy in on this.”

I think it is fair to say that the Dossier is not “garbage” as several commentators claimed. The Orbis sources certainly got some things right—details that they could not have known prior. Steele and his company appear serious and credible.
A lot of the Steele dossier has since been corroborated. (http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/jurisprudence/2017/09/a_lot_of_the_steele_dossier_has_since_been_corrobo rated.html)
