Grateful if someone would "reply" with the telephone number for the Villages Taxi service
Have tried Googling but can't find it, and currently have limited internet access
Thank you

villages airport van 352-241-2000
I know there is a Dave's taxi service, but I cannot find their card.
Also, we have limited Uber service, it appears we have limited number of drivers.
If you are interested in going to the airport, the village has a direct shuttle to Orlando airport.
Taxi service to Sanford - orlando or Tampa airports is by typically private shuttles unless you do not mind a long trip.
Hope this helps.

I just need to get from Bealls on 441 to Tierra del Sol - does the "Van" do that sort of run?

Village Airport Van has a very reasonable taxi service. 352-241-200 Worth a call at least.

Called Villages Airport Van but just got classical music for ages until I hung up
Called Villages Transportation but they no longer do taxi service (despite what it says in a Google search)
So called A-1 Taxi of Lady lake and they arrived quickly and were very good - happy to recommend them

Saw an ad in the paper this week that they need two phone operators. Guess you caught them at a bad time. I've used them and they are very reasonable.

In other parts of the country this would not even be a topic. Uber would be the choice. Maybe someday here it will be viable. But good to know about A-1 taxi.

We'll certainly give them a try. Latest phone directory had a fridge magnet from them so we have their number handy :-)
I ask every year for the directories not to be delivered, but nothing changes. Any thoughts?
