If you can't do that, then maybe using your energy and intelligence elsewhere would be more productive and fulfilling. You all know the real meaning of Christmas has NOTHING to do with Santa Claus or gifts under a tree. It is instead about one gift, given to all mankind by God, and that gift is Jesus. It is a gift that doesn't come and go. It does not perish or lose it's value in time. It is the gift that can lead us all to eternal life.

So in remembrance of that miraculous baby in a manger and what He represents, and in keeping with the theme of NOTHINGVILLE, here are a few things that Jesus has said, or that have been said about Him, regarding NOTHING -

Our 6 month old Kitchen Aid refrigerator has sounded like a
SST coming in for a landing at JFK these past 3 days. NOTHING would sound better than getting a call from the repairman. But, ‘tis the season for NOTHING this week. So, here I sit, trying to watch A Christmas Story in silence, but NOTHING like that for me tonight. Hopefully I’ll get to sleep tonight and dream of me
