We all know that any health care related service is going to continue to rise in price.
With regular medicare we carry a supplement policy and part D prescription coverage. They have both been on the increase, modestly since year two of ownership.
However for 2018 they have taken a significant jump in premium rates.
Part D with Humana + $11.70 .....17% increase for each of us.
Medicare supplement with AARP + $18.80....5% increase for both of us policy.
Total $42.28 monthly increase.....on the proverbial fixed income.
I fear tis only the beginning.
No complaints on the extent of and quality of coverage by either company.
