During an appearance before the House Judiciary Committee on Tuesday, an animated Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) pressed Sessions on what Jordan felt was the need to appoint a second special counsel to look into Democrats' role in that infamous anti-Trump dossier. And Sessions rebuffed him.

“We know one fact: We know the Clinton campaign and the [Democratic] National Committee paid for — through the law firm — paid for the dossier. We know that happened,” Jordan began. “And it sure looks like the FBI was paying the author of that document. And it sure looks like a major political party was working with the federal government to then turn an opposition research document that quoted some National Enquirer story into an intelligence document, take that to the FISA [Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act] court so that they could then get a warrant to spy on Americans associated with President Trump's campaign. That's what it looks like.”

Sessions's retort: “I would say 'looks like' is not enough basis to appoint a special counsel.”

Thank God for common sense.

More distraction from the various Trump scandals that were going on long before Donald John Trump even started his campaign for the Presidency.

This is the third in a row "do nothing" attorney general.

Jordon is spot on. there is sufficient evidence for an investigation be it by the DOJ or special counsel concerning the Clinton's and the uranium deal. Evidence that is criminal.

yet here we are allowing chasing rainbows on an issue that even proven true is a "nothing burger" not criminal in nature

Priorities don't matter, truth doesn't matter, the left has a firm grip on this nation and that means any and all of their ilk. Its disgusting and its damaging this nation

I guess you didn't watch Shep Smith's complete takedown of that stupid "uranium deal" lie. It was a lie 7 years ago and it is still a lie. After multiple Republican investigations of Hillary, one where she was grilled for 11 straight hours, aren't you beginning to think this is the REAL "witch hunt"?

Former Asst FBI Director Unleashes on Hillary, Crimes “20 Times” Worse Than Watergate

By Cillian Zeal

"In a recent appearance on Fox Business’ “Varney and Co.,” former FBI Assistant Director James Kallstrom blasted members of the Obama administration and the Democrat Party — in particular Hillary Clinton — and said that there were crimes “20 times bigger than Watergate” that nobody was charged for.

In his appearance last week, according to PJ Media, Kallstrom said that it “was obvious to anybody that knows anything” that former President Obama wasn’t going to let Hillary Clinton get indicted for her private email server, and said that current Attorney General Jeff Sessions was “in a coma” when it came to pursuing the former Democrat standard bearer.

Kallstrom said that part of the problem was that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein — who appointed Robert Mueller as special counsel after Attorney General Sessions recused himself from all things Russia — was put in place at the Department of Justice by the Democrats and that the current investigation was like “this huge forest fire is burning up (Sessions’) real estate.”

Then Rosenstein throws this hand grenade at you by naming this counsel — which is B.S. — and putting Mueller, who has a conflict of interest 20 miles wide, in on the job.”

“I don’t know if it’s a conspiracy, but it sure smells like one.”

Meanwhile, he said that while the special counsel investigation continues without any apparent end game, there were plenty of things to investigate regarding the Obama administration and Hillary Clinton; “the unmaskings of names alone is a major scandal,” Kallstrom said.

“Look how long the public, the American people have been dealing with the crime syndicate known as the Clinton Foundation… just look at what’s in the public domain. The Clintons have been taking advantage of their stations in life for so long.”

This isn’t just the email server, either. Kallstrom pointed to the Uranium One deal signed off on by Hillary Clinton when she was secretary of state and when former President Clinton “let our guidance technology for our ICBM missiles go to China.” "

Distract, distract, distract.

You obviously did not see it or are aware of the facts surrounding this trumped up conspiracy theory. Funny, you call this a distraction.

Fact is, that one seems to have gone to the bench somewhat.....is was never a distraction enough for you folks.

NOW, the new distraction is the Fusion thing. It began as a Rubio team paid effort, then taken over by DNC, and of course supported and financed at the end by Clinton.

You guys now want to make it about some sort of tin foil hat conspiracy again.....talk about your banana republic kind of leadership.

But, worry should be on the content...

"The ex-British intelligence agent who authored the opposition research dossier on President Donald Trump and Russia did not pay the sources he used to compile the document, Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson testified to congressional Russia investigators, multiple sources familiar with the matter told CNN.

In nearly seven hours of testimony before the House Intelligence Committee, Simpson defended the Trump opposition research dossier compiled by Christopher Steele, arguing that nothing from the dossier had been disproven and some of it had been corroborated, the sources said."

Congress told Trump dossier sources not paid - CNNPolitics (http://www.cnn.com/2017/11/15/politics/russia-investigation-fusion-gps-glenn-simpson-dossier/index.html)

Yell distract loudly because you are speaking to your own followers. These stories simply come out as the noose gets tighter.

Seems you are now part of the crew of BOG99 and Rubicon. Adjust your tinfoil hat
