Yesterday, I drove the new SS Saloon Tomberlin with power steering at the ParCar/Tomberlin warehouse in Leesburg. It’s the first of its kind in Florida. Unlike my electric ParCar that has a whine, this cart is very, very quiet and almost too easy to steer. I like the all forward facing seats, automotive three point seat belts and the automotive glass front windshield with a wiper. The only issues of concern for me were the length and that sliding glass sides can’t be installed.

Someday if my wife lets me, I will replace my 2007 cart with something that has all of the new bells and whistles. :icon_wink:

It is lovely. It must be so nice to have power steering.

BUT...

It's first name is SALOON?

Wonder why they didn't call it Blake Shelton?

Check out the Atomic electric. A/c, heat, power power brakes, power steering, power windows, radio etc etc. Getting over 60 miles and still have juice left to spare.

I was so focused on the steering that all my other sensory inputs were overloaded. So, I can’t comment on the ride.

It’s very roomy for all passengers and the driver.

I would have to get the two seater................I don't have enough friends for a four seater.

That steering wheel is bizarre. However, excellent engineering is shown by four drink holders in the front seat.

Disclosure: I never drink while driving. You could hit a bump and spill it.

It's still an electric cart, subject to power outages on travels from one end of the Villages to the other, occasionally burning homes down while charging and then there's the ever so often having to spend a mortgage payment on new batteries.

Aren't you a bit sick and tired of running out of electricity and having your house burn down over the last 11 years?

I like the steering wheel console with 20/25 MPH switch, FWD/REV switch, ignition key, and self-cancelling turn signal.

The power steering in a golf cart is properly decadent....:)
....But then they make you have to lean forward to pick up your drink...Unacceptable! I may just have to write them a nastygram.

The Tomberlin has a brushless AC motor so you don't get that motor whine. You will also have 20% more power and range.
