I should appreciate any serious advice that I can pass on to friends who have lost their not insignificant deposits with Legendary Journeys.

What action can they take at this point?

Thank you

Contact Seniors Vs Crime. The State Attorney General's Office is monitoring this situation closely and Seniors Vs Crime can ensure that your claim reaches the proper office at the Attorney General's Office. Their number is 352-689-4600, Extension 4606.

Thank you, Brian.

If LJ was not forwarding the deposits to the cruise companies then there would certainly appear to be criminal intent.

If you or your firiends used a credit card, by all means contact the CC company, and make them aware of the situation, hopefullyn they could arrange for a refund.

I spoke to someone "in the know" this morning who said the hurricane in August set off a series of circumstances leading to financial problems which they are resolving. It was stated they will come back, maybe with a different name.
