WASHINGTON (AP) — An FBI report on the rise of black "extremists" is stirring fears of a return to practices used during the civil rights movement, when the bureau spied on activist groups without evidence they had broken any laws.

The FBI said it doesn't target specific groups, and the report is one of many its intelligence analysts produce to make law enforcement aware of what they see as emerging trends. A similar bulletin on white supremacists, for example, came out about the same time.

The 12-page report, issued in August, says "black identity extremists" are increasingly targeting law enforcement after police killings of black men, especially since the shooting of Michael Brown roiled Ferguson, Missouri, in 2014. The report describes cases in which "extremists" had "acted in retaliation for perceived past police brutality incidents." It warned that such violence was likely to continue.

One did not need FBI statistics to be cognizant of black aggression;albeit the published statistics confirms the movement.

You would believe that after the civil rights struggles and the 1964 Civil Rights and similar legislation that followed that tension between the races would have ended

I have made claim on these pages that racism can't exist because of the aforementioned past legislation.

What we have here is intentional and false narratives who prime purpose is political advancement. People like Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson use it as their raison d' etre.

We have to add Obama's actions to have helped stir the pot and it was evident with the number of visits Al Sharpton made to the oval office what influence he held over Obama. Obama was in a unique position to bring the races together but he chose by his actions and inactions to send a message that blacks were still being discriminated against.

The NFL protests are the latest example of the undertone of black extremist. Apparently success by many in the black community has only embolden them toward hatred and not unity.

The reminder here is not to blame an entire race but those radical and malcontents that continue to damage race relations.

That is NOT true...Hispanics and blacks living in the cities commit mass murders EVERY weekend. Hispanics OFTEN identify themselves as white so they get listed as white. PURE whites commit about 10%. AND it makes the news because it's so rare!

Even with the 56 killed...it fell short of a holiday weekend worth of killings by blacks. How many in Chicago on a holiday weekend? Baltimore? E St Louis? Memphis? Detroit?

Whites...REAL whites excluding Hispanics....are responsible for about 10% of the violent street crime in America.
