reputable realters or property managers you have had experience with in finding rental units in The Villages? I'm not looking for posts critical of realters or Property managers, but one or more you know are trustworthy.

I say they do a terrific job! I started with the Villages Property Management and fired them after a year. They did not allow me to have a golf cart, gas grill of high speed internet. They did not rent my property as often as I would have liked and had lots of other rules and procedures that really made me feel that they owned my home. Then I had a small "family operation" manager who did a fantastic job, and allowed me to control my property, but he had to retire due to the demands of managing a number of homes.
Then I went to JD Management. Outstanding personal service, attention to the smallest details, good advertising and internet exposure, extremely friendly to me and the renters. I'm all set!

I have contacted this agency and they seem very professional. We are working with them but haven't finalized a a rental as yet.
