People continue to ignore that racism no longer exists because it was legislated out of existence. No one can be denied an opportunity because of race age sex.

I watched an interview between Laura Ingraham and a film producer named Tariq Nasheem. Nasheem claimed that in the NBA and NFL players are treated and referred to as slaves. He claims the only way to end that is to have more black owners in both leagues. What he didn't say, but intimated, was that he believed ownership should simply be divided fairly. Laura Ingraham took him to task and explained that owners got to be owners by working hard ...and before she could go any further Tarqid played the race care and interrupted by saying "are you suggesting that black people don't work hard as white people"

Laura Ingraham responded with "nice try" and ended the interview. Actually Tarqid ended the interview by intimating that Ingrahm was a racist.

I just do not understand why folks refer to black people as African Americans. Almost none are from Africa. Even the reference that African = black could be construed as a racist term in our current pick apart what every body said society.

Because they're different than us. You wouldn't call a wolf a dog would you? Then why call a negro an American? You would say "wolf-dog"...and we say "African-American" because we can't say Negro-American. They're a different species and that's how we identify them.
