Our golden boy Crosby is ten years old today. Not a milestone I'm happy about, except that he's still healthy.

In the last year, we have fostered three goldens--one to the rainbow bridge, two to forever homes. We're celebrating that.

Crosby's birthday present is a raw femur bone, and while he's eating it, I will watch him carefully instead of cocktail shop on the laptop.

Merry Christmas to all the pups and pup lovers out there.

Annie, 12 (left) adopted two weeks ago. Crosby (right). I'm grateful to Mia for getting me into fostering. Life is great!

I hope you get more good years in. Our rather large Dalmation, Ashes, lived to 19 or so. And that was with Valley Fever. Valley Fever in Dogs | VCA Animal Hospital (https://vcahospitals.com/know-your-pet/valley-fever-in-dogs)

That is awesome. We had to put our last dallie down at 13 because he was too sick to be having any quality of life. Our current dallie is 8 and I hope he can make it to 19.

From personal experience . . .

There aren't many better than the Croz, except he doesn't give kisses!
Hope he enjoys a bone for many more years.

What a beautiful beast! Mine will be 9 years old in December and is still going strong and happy. A healthy diet + daily physical activity is what every dog needs to stay in a good shape...

best regards!
