View Full Version : Tweeting Dangerous Nonsense

Apparently, the president* was up early on Wednesday, tweeting out dangerous nonsense. First, he retweeted some noxious sewage from the deputy leader of Britain First, a virulently Islamophobic organization.

Then, in the wake of the firing of Matt Lauer by NBC, the president* went after NBC and MSNBC. This was not just the president* running off at the fingertips again. This was an incitement to violence. This was a president* calling out for the destruction of a news organization that has criticized him. This was out-and-out fascism.

In recent days, thanks to White House sources who are plainly terrified, we have learned that the president* still thinks his predecessor may have been born in Kenya, still thinks millions of illegal votes cost him the popular vote in 2016, and, strangest of all, that he thinks the infamous Access Hollywood tape may have been faked. This latter business is new and bizarre but, as to birtherism and the hijacking of the ballot, his adherence to those fantastical conspiracies makes him virtually no different from most of the Republicans who voted for him.

When you think he has hit rock bottom, he gets a backhoe. Disgusting, offensive, dangerous, and unhinged. He needs to be removed from office.

Meanwhile North Korea launched an ICBM that can reach Washington D.C. But Trump has better things to worry about.

The last 4 or 5 presidents kicked the can down the road why do you expect anything different now?

At least his ego is addressing the problem. May not be the right solution but at least he's not hiding from the issue.

After we completely destroyed North Korea in the 1950s and complained when we didn't have anything left to bomb flat, there is no wonder they hate us. However, "kicking the can down the road" kept us out of nuclear war. We're closer than ever now thanks to one blowhard trying to outdo another blowhard.

In the space of last 48 hours, Donald Trump has:

Retweeted three anti-Muslim videos from a far-right group based in Britain.
Sent two tweets not only using the firing of NBC's Matt Lauer to bash so-called "fake news" but also to spread innuendo about NBC News head Andy Lack and "Morning Joe" anchor Joe Scarborough.
Called Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren "Pocahontas" at an event honoring Navajo code talkers.
Not denied repeated reports that he now believes the "Access Hollywood" tape is somehow fake and that President Barack Obama may not have been born in this country.
Attacked congressional Democratic leaders and insisted he would blame them for a government shutdown.
Delivered a statement about North Korea's latest missile launch.
Spoken to Chinese President Xi Jinping over the phone.
That's just in the last 48 hours!

The same man who is stoking conspiracy theories, fomenting gossip and retweeting violent anti-Muslim videos from questionable sources is also on the phone -- almost concurrently! -- with world leaders trying to avoid a war in the Korean Peninsula.
None of this behavior is normal.

We’re living in interesting times. I thought Obama’s presidency would be but it was NOTHING short of boring.

So you think the reason we are closer to nuclear war is because of Trump? NK has been developing their nuclear and missile technology for years. But you are so blindsided by your hatred for Trump that everything is his fault. I bet you want to blame the weather on him too.

I'll be the first to admit that Trump is an idiot but not every problem in the world was created by him..

Another poster ruled by their emotions.

So, this means you support all his nonsense.

Frankly, he is absolutely bananas.

No matter what he does or where he might work in any position, these comments are more than bizarre, and when you add that he speaks to the world for all of us and our country...

If you support this man, you can never ever complain about any politician again. He has lowered the standard throughout the world.

Anti Trumper ? No, Anti Clown in our White House.

This has become incredibly embarrassing for our country. All you who still support such nonsense.....well, how ? Country is going deeper in debt, while he makes more money in his office. Ethics is now not even an option, while he makes millions and lies about it. A country coming together is now a complete joke, and he makes money and acts like a stand up comedian. Common decency has gone from our country, and he is making millions on it. We are a prop in his latest series, and we don't get paid...he does.
