I think no, as evidenced by the 31 pt loss to a mediocre Iowa.

No. Two losses, especially the blow out by Iowa at home killed them

I don't think the Buckeyes took Iowa seriously and they were not prepared to give an all out effort. We knew at the conclusion of that game that it would come back to haunt them, and that it did. We were disappointed with the announcement of the top four excluding Ohio State, but we were not suprised. The upside their record is 11-2, they beat that team up north, and are representing the Big Ten(Champions) in the Cotton Bowl against a very good USC team. I don't think it was a snub, or a hose job.
Go Bucks !!!

No, but Penn State sure did last year......by Ohio State. OSU seems to be forgetting that one.

No two loss team should get a shot at the National Championship. However, a two loss LSU beat Ohio State for the title in 2008 under the BCS system.

As long as USC gets beaten, I don’t care. Hey, I’m allowed to dream, right?
I’d say go Bruins, but .........

I favor a Pac 10 team over a Big 10 team any day.

You're about five or six years behind the curve. Colorado and Utah made it 12.

You're about five or six years behind the curve. Colorado and Utah made it 12.
And Nebraska, Maryland, Penn St and Rutgers made it 14.
