Evening at Brownwood would have been much more pleasant without all the vendor tents. It felt like a country fair or carnival with all the junk for sale, didn't seem like Christmas atmosphere.

It's all about the money. You know, Keep $$$ in Chri$$tmas. Vendors pay for space at the event. People buy things. Stores and restaurants get traffic. Cops get to arrest a lot of DUIs. For some, it's fun. For geezers, patience has worn thin.
